Production company Aniplex opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Keiichirou Shibuya's Ruri no Houseki (Introduction to Mineralogy) manga on Wednesday, scheduled to premiere in 2025. The Aniplex Online Fest event will reveal more information for the anime on September 16.

Shibuya began serializing the educational adventure manga in Harta magazine in August 2019. Enterbrain shipped the fourth volume in August 2023 and will release the fifth volume on September 13.

@Sharan955 Ohh , I see my bad then. Yeah , a Ruri Dragon adaptation will be a great addition to the cute girl & wholesome anime list!!

@malvarez1 We still have an anime about a dude who is reborn in another world as a vending machine and who unironically tells you real facts about the Japanese vending machine industry.

...Rocks? Rocks?

That has to be the shortest synopsis ever.

Reminds me of koi asteroid, though uhh

Or is this gonna be a short anime? Really not enough info

EDIT: is it actually aimed at children and/or like, those kind of educational manga? Hmm

@Yubisoft As @keepinup said I thought it was about Houseki no Kuni at the first glance.
But would still like to get an anime for Ruri Dragon, haven't read it yet, but Main girl-chan looks hella cute

There really is a manga/anime for everything. Cute girls slice-of-life/mineralogy? Sure, why not.

Damn this title making me think it was Ruri Dragon for one second then Land of the Lustrous for another.

Has anyone actually read this manga? How moe-ish is this? Looks like CGDCT, but based on searches, the manga isn't very well known outside of Japan.

@Sharan955 I thought it was about Houseki no kuni

@Sharan955 Way too soon for Ruri Dragon. If it gets anime it will be after approximately volume 5 or something

As a certified mineral fetishist, I'll be there no matter what.
