@mshfqtny

i guess they really just don't give a shit if some shows get fucked as long as they make money lol

but the biggest problem is so many anime are being made that they can't keep up with the demand which causes studios to go bankrupt

even some of the biggest studios have major financia issues

@EcchiGodMamster the thing is that isekais are selling moderately well. And it's not risky. You'll get what you're expecting. There is a good chance you're gonna make a masterpiece and enough people will not notice it. Producers want to play safe

@EcchiGodMamster I don't watch Vampire Girl, but yes, this is one of the consequences of such a congested market.

Very title, much wow...

@RobertBobert

Too bad there's not enough animators to keep up with demand especially with them constantly quitting and or being hospitalized

So we get a ton of rushed looking shows and ofc several delays

I mean, the last episode of Vampire girl had a big art quality drop towards the end

@EcchiGodMamster The banal “demand creates supply.” I'm not complaining because it opens up space for many previously ignored topics and genres.

@mshfqtny i don't think more anime necessarily means more money though, unless it always does for those at the very top, but yea, i guess... lol

@EcchiGodMamster maybe because more anime means more money. They're not trying to create art or something like that here. They're just trying to earn some money

the art quality/animation of many of these (esp fantasy) shows is meh at times... idk why they can't just take longer to make less shows instead of thinking we need 500 anime a season now
