Manga 'Watari-kun no xx ga Houkai Sunzen' Receives Anime Adaptation

The tenth issue of Monthly Young Magazine revealed an anime adaptation of Naru Narumi's Watari-kun no xx ga Houkai Sunzen (Watari-kun's ****** Is about to Collapse) manga on Wednesday. The manga ended with two final chapters in the tenth issue.

Narumi began drawing the romance drama in Young Ace magazine in August 2014 before transferring to Monthly Young Magazine in November 2015. Kodansha shipped the 15th volume on August 18.

Kodansha USA licensed the manga for digital release in English in November 2019. The 14th volume went on sale on July 11.

Synopsis
Two years ago, the death of Naoto Watari's parents left him as the sole caretaker for his younger sister Suzushiro "Suzu" Watari and forced him to move in with their aunt. So devoted is he to Suzu that he refuses to join clubs or even hang out with anyone, earning him snide comments and the title of "siscon" at his new school. But as long as Suzu is safe and happy, Naoto doesn't care what everyone else says.

However, his sneering classmates may turn out to be the least of his worries. The sudden transfer of a girl named Satsuki Tachibana brings back traumatic memories from his past—a past she had a hand in making so unpleasant. Nasty secrets, unknown to Naoto, begin to surface with her arrival, threatening his new life. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

I read this a long time ago. Like when there was about 40 chapters.
If I remember correctly, the title of the manga has nothing to do with the plot.

Huh, didn't really expect this one would ever get an anime, it's been publishing for almost 10 years already, but alright then I'll take it

Wouldn't call it the best romance manga I've ever read but it's decent at least

Oh no you're wrong it's not so similar. Has great and very delightful story and very much Character Development for all characters not just MC.

A high school story that isn't a teasing om-com, not a rom-com at all, or even a CGDCT? An attempt at drama? I'll definitely try this. Although it’s strange to realize that this is from the author of a memetic yuri about ramen's fangirl.
