'Ragna Crimson' Unveils Supporting Cast, Opening Theme, Third Promo [Update 8/18]

The official website of the Ragna Crimson television anime unveiled additional cast members, the opening theme, a third promo, and the key visual (pictured) on Thursday. The anime is scheduled to premiere with a 1-hour special on October 1 at 1:00 a.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by MBS.

Cast
Slime: Ai Fairouz (Chainsaw Man)
Chimera: Mamiko Noto (Fairy Tail)
Golem: Hiroki Touchi (Hunter x Hunter)
Voltekamui: Junichi Suwabe (Black Clover)

Rock band ulma sound junction is performing the opening theme "ROAR," which is previewed in the promotional video below.

Ken Takahashi (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!!) helms the anime at SILVER LINK.. Deko Akao (Hitomi Mieno) (Vanitas no Karte) is penning the script and handling the series composition. Shinpei Aoki (Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou, Aruiwa Sekai ga Hajimaru Seisen sub-character design) is designing the characters. Kouji Fujimoto (Sus4 Inc) (Saikin Yatotta Maid ga Ayashii) and Osamu Sasaki (Jahy-sama wa Kujikenai!) are composing the music.

Ragna Crimson adapts Daiki Kobayashi's action fantasy manga, which began serializing in Monthly Gangan Joker in March 2017. Square Enix published the 12th volume on June 22.

Square Enix Manga & Books licensed the manga for English release in November 2019. The ninth volume went on sale on June 27, and the tenth volume is scheduled to be released on August 22.

Rina Hidaka (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken) and Rio Tsuchiya (Isekai One Turn Kill Neesan: Ane Douhan no Isekai Seikatsu Hajimemashita) are joining the cast as Starlia Leese and both Hazella and Glea, respectively.

The manga's art is so good that I'm still concerned that the animation won't be able to match it.

It seems like Mamiko Noto started playing villains or smug oneesan with double power after G-Witch. Can't fault her, she makes a great evil matriarch, at least in terms of roleplaying.
