The official website for the television anime adaptation of FUNA's Rougo ni Sonaete Isekai de 8-manmai no Kinka wo Tamemasu (Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement) manga unveiled the supporting cast, opening theme, and a key visual (pictured) on Friday. The anime is set to premiere in January 2023 on ABC TV and TV Asahi's "ANiMAZiNG!!!" programming block.

Cast
Colette: Rika Tachibana (Princess Connect! Re:Dive)
Sabine: Kaori Maeda (Kaijin Kaihatsu-bu no Kuroitsu-san)
Tsuyoshi Yamano: Jun Fukuyama (Nanatsu no Taizai)

Kaori Maeda (Back Street Girls: Gokudolls) is performing the opening theme, "Hikatta Coin ga Shimesu Hou."

Hiroshi Tamada (Gibiate assistant director) is directing the television anime at Felix Film. Akihiko Inari (Chou Yuu Sekai: Being the Reality) is handling the series composition, and Yuuki Fukuchi (Plunderer) is designing the characters.

FUNA began writing the fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in November 2015. Kodansha acquired and began publishing the series on its K Ranobe Books label in June 2017, featuring illustrations by Touzai (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!). The seventh volume shipped on August 2.

Keisuke Motoe began drawing a manga adaptation on the Suiyoubi no Sirius web magazine in June 2017. Kodansha released the tenth volume on August 8.

Sol Press originally licensed both the light novel and manga in English in November 2018. Kodansha USA announced at Anime Expo 2022 that they licensed the series after Sol Press lost the rights.
