Fourth Season of Ikkitousen Announced

According to Monthly Comic GUM January issue, the fourth season of Ikkitousen was announced. The title is "Ikkitousen XX (XTREME XECUTOR)" and Endo Aya will voice the new character Ma Chao.

Ikkitousen XX DVD vol.0 (PV) will be released on January 22nd. The TV series will be aired from April 2010.

Hmmm after looking at your replys i don't know i have seen the first season and i loved that one, im a bit new to anime so i don't know. Looking at all this i think i am going to just stick with that i just have seen the first season and not going to see the others.

I just hope that at least there's some kind of plot unlike the mindless fanservice animu these companies are releasing these days....

With that said, I'm looking forward to seeing more Koukin and Shimei XD

Seriously, what this series really needs is a reboot following the manga much much closer.

As it is now I'm not expecting something else from random fanservice and boobie fights, which is good but not great xD

Ikkitousen was great.

Ikkitousen DD wasn't as good but still had some good stuff.

Ikkitousen GG just was crap, pretty much no fights, etc.. just a lil fanservice.

I hope Ikkitousen XX takes from the first season rather then the last two and has some action packed fight scenes and doesn't get censor-bombed on tv.

That is exactly why I started watching this show I love seeing how well the match the characters up or how poorly. So i can't wait to see what new characters will be in season 4.

the first season was good, it had a good story. the second was..ok? the third one..was like, take out the story and add 95% fanservice. The fourth season will be filler again, but i hope they dont screw it up like the third season. I know that Ryofu's hot, but dont revive dead characters so they can fade away in the last episode. they should wait for the manga to finish and then make something like..Ikkitousen: Sisterhood that would be 99%manga story. I mean, since they are making new seasons, they really could have waited for manga and made a good anime. I think that they could easily put the whole manga into 26ep. the only problem is that the manga wont finish soon, its like...15pages a month!
i'm looking forward to this. *rewatching Ikkitousen 1-3*

oh god T_T, well i guess ill give it a last shot for the last time since its been awhile since i last saw IKKITOUSEN. probably not a great martial arts anime but something else to watch. Hope this season is WAY better than the other three
