woot, I'm so excited that I actually know most of the people this time around. I barely knew anyone for the first seiyuus awards ^^ And wait, just the winners are listed? No list of nominees?

I'm glad Hatano Wataru won an award for portraying Sam from Terra e.... I thought he did an awesome job :D

And um, I like Motteke and all but seriously, I'm sure there were better songs out there D:

hirano aya as konata was amazing.
hosaka was awesome too, so is mihashi from oofuri.

and i have to say that motteke sailor fuku is SUCH an addictive song, i was listening to it before i watched luckystar (cause it was on japans oricon top weekly chart for a while)

i definitely agree with miyano mamoru as the best voice actor XP although not as much in gundam 00 but death note, ouran, eyeshield were all amazing!!!!

It's a funny song xD Hirano is pretty good, so she deserves it ^.^

If you look at Miyano Mamoru and his different roles... Shy boy Aoba(Tokimeki Memorial), attracts-a-lot-of-girls-aka-prince-charming Tamaki(Ouran) and normal/sortofcriminal Light from Death Note. Yeah, he's good.

Aww, I wish Kobayashi Sanae won for D.Gray-man's Allen Walker :P

As for musical performance, why oh WHY did they have to pick Motteke?! I know the whole moe voice goes over well with the male otaku audience, but seriously that song makes me want to crawl under a rock and bash my head in. It's so annoyingly high-pitched, and makes my ears bleed.

Since they had to pick a SEIYUU song, there's plenty of seiyuu out there who can sing well! Sakamoto Maaya's a good example, and so is Mizuki Nana. Damn, I was rooting for Sakamoto's Saigo no Kajitsu. And Mizuki Nana has a slew of great songs out - Secret Ambition, Massive Wonders, and that Shugo Chara character CD.

I'm satisfied with some of the choices (Saiga, Kugimiya, Miyano, Ono) and a lot of the others I don't know. But I still get the distinct feeling it was rigged. I mean, all the Sigma 7 seiyuu got slashed. Completely. I mean, Inoue Marina and Yukana totally deserved something. Yukana's CC in Code Geass was awesome.
