Additional Cast Announced for 'ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka - Regards' OVA
The official website of the ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka anime series revealed two new cast members on Tuesday for the original video animation titled ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka - Regards (ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. Regards). The OVA will screen in 13 Japanese theaters for one week beginning on February 14, 2020.
The 45-minute OVA will feature an original story that takes place one year after the events of the TV anime. The same production staff and cast are returning to work on the episode. The Blu-ray and DVD containing the episode, which will also include a recording of the cast's musical stage reading, will ship on March 27, 2020.
ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka is based on Natsume Ono's police drama manga of the same title. The TV anime, directed by Shingo Natsume at Madhouse, aired for 12 episodes in Winter 2017.
Square Enix's monthly Big Gangan serialized the manga between June 2013 and October 2016. The sixth and final volume was published in December 2016. Ono later wrote a side story titled ACCA: 13-ku Kansatsu-ka P.S., which was also published in Big Gangan from December 2016 to October 2017.
Funimation licensed the anime series in North America and released it on Blu-ray and DVD in April 2018. Yen Press licensed the manga in English in 2017 and published the sixth and final volume on February 26.
