*2. 26,157 *26,157 Strike the Blood Vol.18

Lovely to see these two up at the top, while Accel Worlds sales are far from it's heyday their still very, very good. Shame the novel releases over here are taking an age. Likewise Strike the Blood though it's sales seem to remain consistent.

Dungeon Meshi is a fantasy cooking manga that became a monster hit as soon as it came out back in February 2014. If you look at all these fantasy cooking light novels, they came out after Dungeon Meshi.

The original web novel of Isekai Izakaya "Nobu" started serialising online in October 2012, and was a popular web novel well before the Dungeon Meshi manga started.

Dungeon Meshi was more a product of a trend than the cause of it, tbh, although it may well have increased the demand for such series.

Cool I didn't know Isekai Izakaya was originally one of those web novels, interesting to know this. Dungeon Meshi definitely started the trend though, Isekai Izakaya only started coming out as a printed LN in September in 2014, same year Dungeon Meshi took off earlier in the year.

Good, but little bit of explanation about what it actually means would be appreciated.
