This time we're tackling Everest! YEAUH, GET SUM!

Srsly tho. Really liked last season's OP. Hope the new one is catchy, too. I also hope we get plenty of Kaede <_<

After over 1000 anime the second season is still my favourite anime. I hope the third can live up to the hype I have for it.

I was there in Hanno! The crowd went nuts after they revealed the 3rd season - thought it was going to just be the OVA! Yoko Hikasa also showed up as a surprise guest!

While not my favourite show, it's still pretty decent. Can't really say no to that Yuka Iguchi and Kana Asumi casting in a Non Non Biyori-esque series!

* Posting this as I'm riding the train back to Tokyo from Hanno, went back there to visit some sites including the conbini that is dedicated to the show! The town really embraces Yama no Susume - it's even featured in the Tourist Center lol
Wow, never would've guessed that Yama no Susume would be so beloved in Hanno, thanks for sharing!

Np! I made the trip to Japan specifically for the seiyuu event! Hanno's a charming little town ^^

CAN SOMEBODY EXPLAIN TO ME HOW AN ANIME ABOUT CUTE GIRLS DOING SOME CLIMBING SOLD SO MUCH THAT THEY DECIDED TO GIVE IT A THIRD SEASON ?
Cause, it's awesome and actually justifies its genre. I'd suggest watching it, but judging from your profile, this would be as far from your interests as possible, lol. Not that that is bad or anything, just everyone's got different tastes.

As for me, I am SO hyped for this. If the 3rd season is even half as good as the 2nd, then we're in for a fantastic time. ^^

Damn, all these unexpected announcements for good little girl cartoons are making me moist. I guess these kinds of genre might be the only continuing series worth watching if this keeps up.

Noice, it should stay 12 min or shorter, full length would make it a chore to watch.

As per disc sales, Season 1 sold 9k++ for a 3 minute show that's a positive number, Season 2 sold an average of the 3.3k-3.5k for 7 volumes.

But more than that the show helps the local town of Tokyo where Yama no Susume's setting took place generated a a huge amount of profits, not to mention the Yama no Susume hiking goods sold well. I can say that the show really encouraged people to climb.

This needs to be in 13 mins per episode just like the second season. The charm was perfected like that back then.

PRAISE THE GODS, ANIME IS SAVED

Jokes aside, I am really ecstatic. I never thought this was going to get another season much less an OVA, and so I am quite honestly shocked (in a good way). The prior seasons were so lighthearted and relaxing that I've been kinda in need of more. With news of NNB S3 the other day, I am so hyped out of my mind.

What a welcome surprise! My absolute favourite series getting another season! It's been three years, but I guess they hinted at it by ending the last episode with "See you someday again". I'm so looking forward to watching this.

And I agree, this needs to say half-episode length.

Suprised to hear so much positive responses bout it.
I guess ima watch it too
