Manga Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru To Be Animated [Update]

According to the notice to the book shop keepers, Odagiri Hotaru's manga "Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru (UraBoku)" was announced to get an anime adaptation. The volume 6 of the manga will be released on August 26th.

Strong chance of getting animated, very popular graphics that otaku girls likes.
Strong chance of getting a lot of yaoi scenes!!!
With no more than 7 volumes of the manga out this Anime will surely be a 12-13 episodes with on sequel.

Hmm, the synopsis didn't make it sound terribly interesting so I was planning to pass on this one (especially since it's only shounen-ai, not because I don't like BL but because I would be irritated by lack of butt-secks, pardon my french), but any anime with this cast of champions is on my list to watch. I mean seriously:

Sakurai Takahiro (mmmmmmmm....)
Miyano Mamoru (this voice alone can get me to watch an anime)
Inoue Marina (Skip Beat! 2 please!!)
Ono Daisuke (Itsuki, you sexy man beast)
Fukuyama Jun (good most of the time, but awesome in Nyan Koi!, desu nee~)

PLEASE !!!! READ OR WATCH IT BEFORE SAYING SHITTY THINGS ABOUT IT!!!

BTW... I have read wonderful mangas with crappy summaries but they turned out to be great. Please keep an open mind about various things..

And also this is the first manga of Odagiri-sensei that will be animated because her other mangas are too short that it will not be possible for it to be a one episode anime or OVA. However, she has been in the industry since the 90's.

Truth is Odagiri-sensei categorized this as SHOJO however there are hints of shounen-ai. But there are no kisses, or anything like that. There are only hugs, and something like that..

and i am interested in it since jun fukuyama and Sakurai Takahiro are in there

I think the Vampire Knight comparisons have to do with the lead character kind of looking like Kaname and holding a hot flaming torch for a character named Yuki. The character just happens to be male in this life, lol!

Interesting this mangaka came first. I was thinking they might be the same person but her wrist would probably have broken in two by now.

I have resolved to go post on all the threads for upcoming ecchi about how much I hate ecchi if certain comments continue. Jeeze is every anime coming out lately about bouncing boobs or what?

although i would have preferred them to be paired..
Sakurai as Yuki and Jun as Luka xD but nahh, can't complain...
having these two on is epically awesome already ^^

The cast looks great. How many BL roles has Sakurai Takahiro played already? :D:D
The only "obligatory" BL seiyuu that's missing is Ito Kentaro, but he'll be in the new Ai no Kusabi anime. Oh, and Inoue Kazuhiko, but he's already in Maiden Rose.
BL=awesome cast. :D

I'm currently reading the manga and I find it really good. So far, I've liked all of Odagiri Hotaru's works so far. What concerns me is the art style..the art in the manga is great, but I wonder how it'll turn out animated. Anyways, I'm looking forward to it. And to the anti-yaoi/shonen-ai ppl..just don't watch it, as easy as that.
