if they need God Cloth then i assume they gonna be fighting a God, hopefully one of the 12 Olympians an not lower Gods like Kairos, Abzu, etc
No homoerotic connotations!

I'm conflicted about it. On one hand, for me Omega is the best thing that's ever happened to StS, so I'm all for Toei creating new stuff. On the other, God Gold Cloths look like a cheap commercial trick to sell 12 more SCMs. We'll see.

Well, if you mean pre-Omega anime continuty, it was heavily changed as well. Pretty much the whole Tenkai-Hen was replaced by Next Dimension.
None of changes before were as trainwrecky or horrible as Omega though.
There are "alterations" and there are "let's fuck over the franchise" changes.
Well, Kurumada considers Tenkai-hen as a second one...
Despite i report the new, i'm not "that" happy.
I don't like the Gold and was hoping for a Saintia Sho, or a Episode G Adaptation. ^^
Why you don't like the Gold? And does it mean that you don't like only Gold Saints from classic series, or from all other Saint Seiya series as well?
And well... Episode G is about the Gold Saints.
if its a new movie then i dont mind that it isnt based on any of the 3 SS mangas that are currently being published but if its gonna be a series then yeah whats the point? there Episode G an Saintia Sho that need adaptation... though Saintia Sho might not have enough chapters for that
Saintia Sho and Episode G have too different art style from original Saint Seiya manga, I can't imagine Toei handle it, as well as I can't imagine Toei handling Lost Canvas. But everything is possible of course.

Well there's a lot of these and I have never heard of them XD
gratz for the fans
Lol, your avatar looks just like one girl from Saint Seiya Omega, namely Selene - http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140402231655/saintseiya/es/images/c/cf/Va0cgeWn.jpg
It's confirmed it's Aioria. The plot will involve time travelling and the souls of the Gold Saints will somehow fight a new war.

Time travelling? WHAAT? So will we see a past war, meaning the one from Lost Canvas/Next Dimension, or will we see some new fight, meaning that they will time travel in a future?
Which studio is adapting this?
I can't say for certain, but I am pretty much sure that it is Toei.
Now the question stands whether its the old continuity or the shitty anime-original nonsense trainwreck omega continuity

Got halfway through the series, and just couldn't bear it anymore, I really hope the writing isn't so lackluster, like the others I've watched, Lost Canvas really became a let down towards the end of the first set of OVAs.
Don't worry, it becomes better soon. You are basically only a few episodes from the end of Sanctuary arc, and the next one is arguably the best in the whole tv series.
What about Lost Canvas, anime isn't finished, so some parts may be better in the second set of OVA's, but in overall it isn't finished, so you may not like it, if you really want to learn the whole story, then you may read the manga.
