Sengoku BASARA Boosts Sales of a Local Beer Tenfold

A local beer company in Miyagi Prefecture started to sell "Sengoku BASARA Anime Label Beer" on March 20th. Pictures of Date Masamune and Katakura Kojuurou are printed on the beer. It was sold out in two days and the sales of the shop were increased tenfold.

Production I.G. actively assists the merchants association of Miyagi in so called "Otaku Tourism". Taking advantage of the popularity of Sengoku BASARA among young women, they are trying to follow the success of Lucky ☆ Star tourism in Saitama.

News Update: Sengoku BASARA Bus and Taxi Run in Shiraishi City
Shiraishi city, which Katakura Kojuro governed in Sengoku era, runs "Sengoku BASARA Bus" and "Sengoku BASARA Taxi" from May til October. The bus and taxi tour around the sight seeing places related to Kojuro.

Honestly, beer all taste similar. The only differences would be the brand and the packaging. Sengoku Basara is rather popular, so the sales are boosted. Very natural!
