DVD Special of CLANNAD After Story is Kyou Arc

At a CLANNAD After Story event "Kono Machi no Negai ga Kanau Basho" held on April 12th, the extra episode bundled with the volume 8 was announced to be Fujibayashi Kyou's arc. A preview of the episode will be held on May 24th.

The TV programming guide of BS-TBS channel provided the synopsis of Kyou's arc in the preview section of CLANNAD After Story episode 25. It is possible that the correct synopsis of the recap episode was mistakenly replaced with the synopsis of the DVD special episode. The final volume of the DVD will be released on July 1st.

kotomi story is already finish~ it's from clannad~ and fuko from clannad after story~ that's why only tomoyo and kyou only have ova~ or ther world~

This is interesting you guys should play(read) the visual novel. It actually kinda awesome if you like Clannad. I just got done with the Kyou arc and it was pretty good, needs a better ending but good. Tomoyo had a better ending but it was kinda dry.

well, i must have to agree with rifle on this one to a degree. i mean, the plot line isn't anything original or new, but it's the amount of emotion, drama, and raw feeling that's put into this route that I believe makes it shine brighter than any route, in my belief. I mean Tomoyo's route (aka last season's OVA) definitely had its ability to pull your heartstrings... but I feel Kyou's route will yank those outta your chest after watching this. Especially the "dark" art/animation that I've seen so far depicting the Kyou route. I can honestly say I'm looking forward to this OVA this July 1.

i dont want to cut your hopes for this, but the route in the game is just meh, nothing more, its not as good as tomoyo route or after story,

just in addition, kyou is my fav char, so i should be the first one to say, her route is awesome, but it isn't

If not... oh well. Its just an ova... Certainly it will have even LESS story than the game ending.
