Special TV Program Lupin III vs. Detective Conan Announced [Updated on Feb 24]

According to Weekly Shounen Sunday, an one-shot TV program featuring "Lupin III" and "Detective Conan" was announced. It's an original story, and Lupin III fights with Conan over a treasure.

Considering that both Lupin and Conan had their own long list of seasons, ovas, and movies, the concept of having Lupin taking on Conan may be similar to the American movie series of Aliens vs Predators. Not mentioning that all 4 series had their own set of video games to good with the animation and films.

Nonetheless, I think the protagonist of this new anime series should be Edogawa Conan. Lupin is going after the gold, so automatically..he becomes the antagonist. Hopefully, this new series will have more battles of wits, sort of like Death Note's Yagami Light and L Lawliet. (^_^)

I'll only be watching this cuz Conan Edogawa from Case Closed will be in it :D!

Sadly, I'll be waiting for a LONG time before I can get to see this :(.

It should be more interesting to see Conan chase Lupin rather than the idiotic Zenigata.

Sweet deal, should be a fun special. Hope Lupin gets the treasure in the end, though it'll probably end up that neither will. That's how it always seems to work.
