TV Anime of Manga 'Sakamichi no Apollon' Announced

According to Monthly Flowers magazine, Kodama Yuki's manga "Sakamichi no Apollon" was announced to get a TV anime adaptation. It will be aired in Spring 2012 on Noitamina programming block.

Sakamichi no Apollon has been serialized in Monthly Flowers since September 2007 and seven volumes of the comics have been published. The manga has won Kono manga ga sugoi! (This manga is great!) award in 2009.

I think I'll just let others see how it goes, and then judge by its success if I wanna chance it. I would, but I hate jazz music. I couldn't even get through the PV. -.-

According to Yamamoto Koji, the chief editor of Noitamina, Sakamichi no Apollon will be aired in Noitamina block.
