Animation style really looks like SZS. On the other hand it doesn't look like it will be any good.

When I pictured this animated, I pictured Kamiya Hiroshi as the main character. DDD:

Does SHAFT have any other directors besides Shinbo? Seriously, what the fuck.

Actually, studios normally don't have their own directors, they mostly hire freelance ones. They have other directors but Shinbo is like a teacher + boss for SHAFT that's why he does anything.

Only 3 OVAs huh? Oh well, hope they use that time to give it some nice quality.

Will watch of course.
It's Shinbo Akiyuki directing and it's from the mangaka of SZS. Yay!

Seeing "a believer in science fiction, aliens, ghosts, UFOs, conspiracies" made me think of the Haruhi series.

I would like to see it in a more mid-Kaizo(the middle parts of Katte ni Kaizo) style story
it will not air. OVA on 4.27

I just hope the Anime will concentrate on the chapters that do not have penises everywhere. Then I might really like this. >.>

Very much this. Good news though, will definitely give it a try.

It sounds NHK-ish, but more immature. Since I'm a SHAFT lemming, I guess I'll just jump on the bandwagon for this one as well.

I never expected this to ever happen so I'm unsure what to think. Kaizo is like a primitive prototype to SZS in my eyes so I never paid too much attention to it. I just hope the Anime will concentrate on the chapters that do not have penises everywhere. Then I might really like this. >.>

Shinbo's a real good director :D
For strange comedic series yes. For action, i don't think so.
