Mystery Novel 'Another' To Be Animated

According to Yomiuri Newspaper, an anime project of Ayatsuji Yukito's mystery novel "Another" was announced to get underway. Its manga adaptation has been serialized in Young Ace magazine since this April.

Awesome news! I love mystery, and it seems more straightforward and not full of spirits like Yakumo, which I reject calling it a mystery.

I want this.

However, the problem with mystery novel is that they are very dependent on the capability of animation studio.... If it gets the hand of Studio Deen or other crappy ones, it will be disastrous.

These "mystery" series really aren't my kind of thing, assuming it's one of those that has a supernatural edge that makes it impossible to guess what is happening (the entire point of a mystery anime in the first place) Mononoke, Paranoia Agent and Boogiepop Phantom are the only anime that managed to make that work IMO so far, but this seems to be more along the lines of Higurashi and Shiki than the ones I mentioned.

Well, at least the manga is publishing in a seinen magazine, so I might check an episode out if I have nothing better to do.
