Well, I usually don't read manga, because I think or at least I thought they weren't to be compared with anime. But, Kaneda Yousuke made me think otherwise.

I just watched the anime, so the story seemed interesting, though I was surprised to see only the first ~18 chapters were adapted in a one cour anime. So I decided to give the manga a try, since the manga seemed to have so many things left to tell.

So here it started, marathoning the chapters, I just fell in love with the characters, the carefulness with which they were drawn and the high level of details, top tier ... quality. Their daily routine and how the characters slowly built their relations, growing closer with each chapter passing by, passed all those feelings onward to me, also making me grow closer to them. Such a magic feat is not easy to do, never thought I would love a manga this much, I guess this was only made possible by the author hard-work and I respect that.

As I said before, my enjoyment exceeded any level, the ending was great, nothing else I could ask for, so as a overall rating, it's obviously a Masterpiece, a 10/10.

This manga is amazing; I loved it. The modern take of Romeo & Juliet was super intriguing (although not as much as the Leonardo DiCaprio movie), and I ended up loving it. The ending ended up being about 95% fulfilling for me; not many manga have great endings. The humor is at times hilarious and at times bitterly unfunny (aka "funny" perverted situations), but in my case this can be easily overlooked.

It's pretty fast-paced for a manga of its length, and not exactly a slow build of romance. Personally, I ended up liking the side characters more than the main characters. It's a problem ... that I think most manga of this kind end up with, where there's only so many ways you can make romance intriguing, so you have to rely on side characters to intervene, or even make them into the main characters for a bit. I know that there's some people who hate side characters and just want to see main characters, though, and I understand that. I'd much rather see side characters than see the same blushing or love triangle situation for the 100th time.

Extremely overrated garbage that uses elementary humor to try and get laughs. Cheap characters, cheap romance, cheap comedy.

The initial premise is fine, and it starts off alright. There was some potential there. But it quickly grows stale.

Not even 10 chapters in and the male protagonist is already being blackmailed and humiliated publicly in the most cliche plot development conceivable. Then, in another cliche, he easily forgives the perpetrator for the silliest reason possible. Actually, the male protagonist often gets treated with a total lack of respect from practically every character in the series, and he does little about it. He's just a total pushover.

I ... don't find any enjoyment watching a character let everyone walk all over them. That isn't comedic to me.

I don't enjoy characters acting totally unhinged and unreasonable, and then having it all hand-waved away because it's a "comedy" series where no one takes anything seriously. That isn't actually comedic to me - it's just stupid.

Terrible plot. Annoying characters.

Don't even bother reading this one. Total waste of time.
