The concept of this manga based on an otome game is that the love interests are gods of various pantheons who must learn the power of love to save the world and unlock their gorgeous magical boy transformations with the help of a single human girl. Each character "route" in the manga is so heartfelt and endearing that each one becomes easy to fall in love with. They each have their own internal struggles related to their mythos and personalities that makes them sympathetic and interesting to learn about. Their true strengths, of course, lie in how deeply they care about each other and the
way they develop a found family dynamic as their shared journey at the Lyceum moves them to accept that. Yui is a loveable protagonist whose enthusiasm and work ethic really allow her to stand out as someone who can tame the gods without having any magical powers of her own.
This is a story I frequently return to for a dose of comfort, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys this genre and its tropes.
