I just finished LN + Side Story, I hope it helps with your decision to read the work!
-
Story ★★ - The story at the beginning is interesting, due to its proposal, but in my opinion from the middle to the end it is very weak, some volumes wasted with parallel stories, minimal to zero development of the characters and even re-using ideas of character development, I am even thinking that the author did not have that much creativity, the World-Building that due to its PLOT would be extremely interesting but, it is poorly explored. What about the PLOT? Nothing new, for those who are used
...
to reading other works, I may be being unfair in this part of the PLOT because it is a bit old, but you think, wow, is that all? Another point is that the author drags too much, repeating details of the character that you are tired of knowing.
-
Character ★★ - For me, it's the weakest part of the work by far, as I mentioned before the characters had little development for none, and one of those class of "None" was the MC, another point, there is romance in the work, but. .. As you expect our MC IS TOO DENSE, but this romance you see from afar that it will happen, but it takes time for the author to start and when it does, it's that annoying LN's Jp's.
-
Enjoyment ★★★ - I really liked the proposal, but as I was reading, the Author barely explored the world, it had so much potential, but you even accept that the focus is on the otaku culture, but not having used it as a way of "spreading the word" to other peoples, they even got into the issue of prejudice between races and it barely touched on the nobility aspect but everything superficial the author didn't even try to explore more of it, besides the author kept repeating himself too much.
-
General ★★ - It's a work with a great proposal, there are much better works out there for you to spend your time, and unfortunately this is not one of them, of course, that depends on how much you've read & watched, if you're used to it with the otaku side in general, you can pass away from this work, unfortunately it's not worth it.

Story - The author practically took a Sci-Fi PLOT out of his pocket, and shoved it down the reader's throat, do you remember that there was a time when anything was Nanomachines? So... Here we are XD.
-
Character - Of all the characters, some of them only had their decent development in Side Stories, of course the character spoke about his past during serialization, but that was very fleeting and REPEATED for the 2 characters in question, I saw that in this a certain laziness of the Author .
But my biggest problem is the MC, man he doesn't have ANY DEVELOPMENT, he's too shallow, if you take his "otaku" away, he's an empty character, and that's even spoken by himself in the work, it's even understandable the reason why girls fall in love with him is not something forced, but his reaction is always "meh" never changes, everything goes through the "otaku view", I go even a little further, for me it implies that parents don't care they cared about raising their son and stuffed him with LN / Manga and Video Games, and look at that he became a NEET for the shittiest reasons possible.
-
Enjoyment - You might think, okay, you said a lot of bad things, but what message does it convey? Sincerely? Don't be an otaku & fujoshi whatever audience of that sphere you are, don't go to the EXTREME. All Jp's characters are stereotypes of your "hooby", when you stop to think about it, they are practically ANIMALS driven by their desires and nothing else, they have no depth with the very slight exception of 2 characters, but even these two in question, there is no development for them to change their thoughts.
