This manga had a good start, but it's like how I think of Fetiple again which lowers my liking towards it.

I myself, enjoy a good MILF from time to time, but as soon as it went to like Chapter 15 or something, that is when I fell out of love with the series, as it shares the same problems I had with Fetiple.

Starting off with the good, I love that the male lead takes initiative and even confesses his feelings to the female lead. He's even jacked as heck and is very sweet. There are also parts that are very sweet adorable and ... wholesome, that my hopeless romantic heart can not handle. And the other best character is the femboy. The art is very adorable, and cute as well, and I like how they put some depth into the characters, and the reasoning as the male lead loves her is very sweet. And I think the sexy boss lady is pretty cool too.

And that concludes the good stuff I can think of in this review.

Now here comes the bad stuff, I do like Ayako, the female lead, however, she keeps lying to herself when time and time again, her worries are proven wrong, and she manages to drag out their relationship. Like girl, make up your mind already. You don't like him like you, but then you don't like it when he stops? Like I get that you love your "daughter" but I doubt she even gives an F.

Next is her daughter, she starts out very nice and sweet. I liked her no bs vibe, until the love triangle comes, she becomes very disrespectful to her mother, and I don't like how instead of treating her as a mother, she treats her as her rival now, even after all she's done for her. If she wants them to get together so bad, then bruh no need to force this bs. And yet people treat her like a saint when she has her own faults too.

And bet this'll be some weird School Days situation that's gonna happen, and I'm really tired of these love triangle bs in these types of stories to create some artificial drama, and call it a "romantic comedy". Nothing romantic about seeing people happy then someone ruins their relationship, then after that one of them is crying getting rejected, and making us feel bad for the one who wins the other person's heart. And god, if I was craving oyakadon, I know where I can get that, and I'm not in the mood for that now.

And that's all my thoughts I guess. I'm very frustrated with these excuses for dramas.

This manga is a bundle of disappointment: A manga that relies on its trope too much, not much progression, and random plot points/transitions that in theory should have helped the manga in enjoyment and engagement, but it did the opposite effect.

It must be noted that whenever a manga has a somewhat promising premise, there must be an even greater responsibility for it to expand on the set premise and add new and interesting plot points, which this fails to do. Instead, each chapter resembles the previous chapter with the same-old arcs and progression: The progression is as if you took two steps forward but ... 1 1/2 backwards — that is how cumbersome and annoying the progression is.

Besides for the premise and its progression, the plot itself is tiring and basic. Like noted before, each chapter follows the same script, quickly becoming disengaging as nothing much happens. However, there are cases where the author adds descriptions and plot points to add drama, but it’s done in a forced manner that it isn’t even remotely emotional or interesting, as the plot is predictable.

The characters are all one-dimensional — they have a motive and act on said motive, never changing from their set-design. Despite each character being set up specifically for a singular purpose, the author attempts to add in monumental understanding and depth to the main cast by including a variety of flashbacks; instead, the flashbacks contributed virtually nothing to the plot or characters, rather, it was more similar to filler fan service than anything.

With all of the wrongs this manga does, it should be much worse than it actually is, but the main cast of characters have a relatively wholesome/enjoyable chemistry, no matter how basic or annoying they can be at times. The experience of this manga is similar to many webcomics: There’s a solid premise and start, however, it loses its charm as the chapters move on, since the mangaka can’t help but draw out the resolution as far as possible or not having one in mind in the first place.
