Beast 1 is presented in 2D animation. Gilgamesh does appear, I believe both his Caster and Archer forms are shown. I don't recall them doing anything in particular, Archer version was shown observing the climax of the fight. It's a lame answer but I most enjoyed the main animation cuts near the end of the battle, not with Beast 1 but the many shots of multiple servants destroying the tentacles and such. Those scenes were the most exiting to me.
