office romance heartwarming slice of life, with contrast personalities, and secret!

Fechippuru (or Fetiple as named here on MAL) and Ase to Sekken are both romances which started or partially evolve around fetishes. Fechippuru however does put a big focus on fetishes altogether, with both parts of the relationship as well as family members having different fetishes. In Ase to Sekken it is more subtle, and rather a well fitting with the story.

- Office romances - More 'special' subplots (Ase to Sekken = Smell, Musubu = Condoms) - Wholesome

Weirdly Wholesome? But in a good way! They both had extremely odd (almost fetish) story concepts and sounds like its right out of a romcom. However the art styles combined with its more simplistic approach gives the stories an unsuspecting, but pleasant warmth. Waning: “Ase to Sekken” is more foe older teens b/c of the more steamy scenes.

Weird characters in a very heartwarming Story. :-)

Both are romantic comedies featuring a female main character who has a complex of some sort. In Servant x Service, Lucy Yamagami has a complex about her long name, and in Ase to Sekken Asako has a complex about how much she sweats. Both female main characters also have glasses and are certainly well-endowed. Both male main characters can be gentle and nice, though Hasebe in Servant x Service tends to be more of a tease. Both are light and heartwarming. It is important to note that Servant x Service is a 4-koma, while Ase to Sekken is not. In Ase to Sekken, there is more  read more

If you like some of these mangas, you really should take a look at other too - Very lovely couples - The women are shy, insecure, cute, kind and lovely. She works at his boss's company (both girls are afraid of the company discovering about her relationship with her boss, and try so much to hide it) - The men are kind, handsome, cool, lovely, caring, calm and respectful. He is the boss - Both mangas have the same vibe, the couple is comfortable next to each other without problems, We can see hot and really cute moments in both mangas

While the stories and characters are very different, both these mangas are feel-good romance that mainly focus on the relationship of the characters.

Working adults in a more or less healthy relationship. Wotakoi is more comedy, whereas Ase to Sekken has a bit of drama.

- Fluff - Slow burn - Affectionate couple - Great art - Incredibly sweet shoujo - Will melt your heart (100%)

Both manga focus more on the development of the actual relationship itself, rather than the buildup to it. They both contain heavily mature and responsible relationships, which delve from the usual relationship tropes such as misunderstandings and lack of communication

On a scale of how similar Majo Senpai is to Ase to Sekken, I would give it a definite 10 out of 10 (excluding the certain niches they have - one with soap and the other with magic). Both of the female protagonists are shy and they work in the same office as the male protagonists. The male protagonists are very assertive with their feelings as well as they are generally really nice guys and love the female protagonist for all they are. All in all, I would highly suggest this if you like Ase to Sekken.

-Adult & Mature Relationships -Really empowering main leads -Big focus on the intimacy between the main two characters. -Both these works aren't focused on the "honeymoon" phase of a relationship but rather treat one another as each other's best friends.

At a glance, it looks like the series is just some fanservice-ecchi kind but it actually a pretty wholesome romance with a great interaction/development between the mc and fmc. Both series take place in office and casual places. Ase to Sekken starts the series where the main characters are in a relationship pretty early in the series while Bijin Onna Joushi Takizawa-san is more of a traditional way but with pretty fast development.

Both start the series where the main characters are in a relationship pretty early in the series. Ase to Sekken development is focused more on the trauma of fmc while Fujiyama-san wa Shishunki is more about seeing the main characters grow up naturally.

Both of them are very cute office romances

Both are heterosexual romance manga that feature (sex and nudity) a protagonist with a fetish that involves scent. These two stories both feature a primarily adult cast that takes place in an office.

both series turn their main gimmick into some real and grounded trauma, both focus entirely on the relationship of the main cast and lastly, both are pretty wholesome romance series.

- Unorthodox and mature romances that are actually very sweet and wholesome (Ase to Sekken is more NSFW) - Main characters are working adults in the same companies - They start off with different arrangements before becoming romantically involved (Domme/sub and "product inspiration") - Loveable supporting/side characters

Both are feel-good titles, centering around adults. The main characters are women with little self confidence, but are able to gradually break out of their shell with the help of a peculiar love interest, who helps them flourish by allowing them to embrace their favorite things: jellyfish in Kuragehime, and soap in Ase to Sekken. - Kuragehime has a lot of pining, whereas in Ase to Sekken, the lovin' starts immediately - One might enjoy the impact that their work has on the story - Adult readers may relate more to the characters

Couple with unusual situation get together. Although ase to sekken is more on the serious side, both of their stories expose readers to fluffy feeling of being in a serious relationship as well as solving issues of a couple.

A smooth, wholesome romance between two adults with jobs is something both these manga provide. The relationships reflect the age of the protagonists (20s) and are handled well. Ase to Sekken is more explicit, with a focus on ML's smell fetish and FL's excessive sweating, but that ultimately adds to the sweetness of their relationship, just as the food does in Tonari.

Mature romance manga that are cute, yet can also be quite steamy. Both started with a one night stand that turns into something more. The chemistry between the couples are really good in both manga, relying on their trust and communication for the story progression instead of misunderstandings.
