While the premise of this comic is a very generic "protag gets tossed out of party, gf cheats on him, he gets cheat powers" story, it's surprisingly well executed for the genre.

The protag has trauma from the betrayal, and it takes time for him to work through it. His motives are kind of unusual. His cheat power is strong, but where other comics in the genre would focus on his power, which ends up feeling cheap, in this one, the story focuses more on the bonds he forms. There's also mostly funny segments where it cuts back to his old party who are inadvertently following ... in the protag's footsteps, and not measuring up, or arriving too late for something he's already conquered.

The art is competent, the protag and his allies are fairly likable, the villain is detestable, and the pacing is mostly quick and to the point, which makes it an easy read.

It's definitely nothing special, but the genre has a very low standard of quality to begin with. If you want to read a story like this, I can definitely recommend this as one of the better examples.

Ah yes, the classic kicked out of the hero’s party story, but he was crucially important and all the girls liked him. However, although that trope may be considered tr@sh, there can be other factors that propel a story from that description. Though I say that, this manga doesn’t have much that separates it from the flock, which is disappointing.

The only highlights about this manga are the consistent updates on the mc’s former party and his progression to overcome his newly-formed PTSD. Although it is entertaining, other characteristics about this are average to a little bit above, like the art, characters, plot, etc.

It’s sort ... of playing off the slow-life genre, but it’s on the darker side by incorporating r@pe, mind-corruption, and trauma; there’s not much excitement because of the slow-life vibe, so at best it’s a nonchalant read.

I solely didn’t bookmark this because I don’t think it’s worth waiting 1–2 months for each chapter.

Yeah this is just... bad. Usually something mediocre like this would get a 5, but because of blatant plagiarism and wasted potential I'm giving it a 4. It's not bad, just terribly mediocre and that is very dissapointing.

The initial premise is very interesting. The MC is actually a victim of a harem. The main "hero" of the world has basically seduced all the chicks in the party, including MC's fiancé. To finish it off, they kick him out of the party and he has his engagement ring thrown after him out the door.

Amazing start! Really a cool twist. So what happens after?

His cheat ability activates ... out of nowhere, now he is level 150 (Hero is level 50), and he then goes on to move-for-move copy the early arc of Shield Hero, young slave girl and everything. The slave sellers store was so similar it would not surprise me if the mangaka traced over it. It was honestly baffling.

Either way, the slave girl grows up into an adult beauty and also gets to lvl 200 and her and MC start on their typical fantasy cheat adventure. Ofc MC starts picking up a harem on the way too. Damn it all.

What a waste! It's so frustrating man, how could you waste such a good premise by turning it into such run-of-the-mill trite! It's all so frustrating...
