@Mathi786 I can't comment on the nuance of Klein's powers but there's an organization trying to use the notebook. The Mirror guy who is a low-tier, used Klein and that other family as 'test subjects' in a sense but it all went wrong now he's in big trouble since Klein is a huge loose end that needs to be tied up. This was all explained in the first few minutes. Story-wise, I'd say this is the most focused and straightforward episode.

I'm anime-only but I can get overall idea what's going on.
But still occassionaly feeling overwhelmed with "wth is even happening".
The pacing this episode was surely better!
And the animation... is top tier... those backgrounds, man.

What I'm confused is what exactly Sailor guy and Princess chanting did. Okay, Princess chanted in perfect time and saved Klein, but then again, what about a little earlier when Algar chanted? Seems like no effect at all? (And did they have good dreams? lol). So I'm not really sure what happenend and how it worked... and if Klein even intentionally chose 3-liners to praise himself to imitate chants used to ask God's for power or what? He just thought it sounds cool so why not? And. The dog. Spectator Dog. That was lol. Especially Klein and Algar's faces when they heard her question.

Well, I cannot wait for next one! (and I will surely read novel)

i will answer your question.
1. so as Klein said in episode, he is trying to use gray fog power to return home , but he has no current solution to use it. then on remembering , how old neil used ritual as a medium to borrow the power of evernight goddess. so he thought why not do this experiment with gray fog . but the problem was that even that may not make a connection between him and fog because of the incantation he has already learned. so he took that incantation as a foundation to make a incantation which can point towards him via gray fog.

2. now how did he come up with that incantation.
_the fool who doesn't belong to this era -- it fit him perfectly as he is fool and he is also truly not from this era or world.
_ the mysterious ruler above gray fog-- which is also self explanatory. now Klein thought even though it's unique it may also point towards the mysterious entity in gray fog. that's why he goes something unique about third line.

_ so basically yellow and black in Chinese myth is equivalent to heaven and earth. and he did luck enchantment ritual before coming to this world.
so to make it complete unique he goes with yellow and black from ritual incantation and good luck as a result of luck enchantment ritual.

3. how did Audrey prayer helped him . it's very simple actually. now , although Klein has his own incantation. at the end of the day he is still a seq 9. so there is no way he could listen the prayer directly. so the prayer actually make a connection with gray fog where Klein is a ruler. then gray fog go step further and make a connection with Klein to deliver the prayer . and now when Audrey prayer , her prayer automatically made a connection with fog and Klein in rea world which ultimately helped him.

We haven't passed the half-way mark and am already regretting we'll have only 13 episodes of this show. Truly a wonderful and rich world told in a bit of a enigmatic way but told well none the less. There wasn't a pointless and dull moment to be found anywhere. Pacing is kind of still a bit speedy but much better than first three episodes.

Nice to have a bit of a slower episode. Loved having a bit more time with Old Neil, and interesting to be back with the Tarot club. It’s a cool choice to not let us be totally in Klein’s head in those moments to we can feel the weight of Mr. Fool’s presence in a similar manner to Audrey and Alger.

I'd say it was fortunate Klein was there to foil the trap, but it was a trap set for him in the first place. However luck was on his side and Audrey's timely ritual gives him the boost to overcome the possessing spirit and save Melissa and her friends. Though how the party guests didn't hear him discharging his revolver (twice!) will remain a mystery it appears.
Speaking of luck, Audrey is lucky the potion only made Susie (her dog) more intelligent and capable of speech instead of killing her her or turning her into a monster.
From what I remember this episode is further than what I read on WebNovel before running into monetary roadblocks and giving up so the rest of the story will be a mystery to me.

revolver thing is not a mystery. it's very simple actually. to start the ritual one need wall of spirituality to not to distrub from outer interference. and this wall basically block all sound and other things from outside to inside and vice versa . now I hope it helps

This show seems to swing between dumping exposition and not explaining anything at all. The fight between Klein and Vincent had marvellous animation, but since we never established any rules and restrictions, there was no weight behind any of the action. Compared to the wonderfully choreographed fight in the previous episode, this was a step down. Still, entertaining view.

Very great episode! Klein is getting the hang of this world. Seems like next episode we'll be switching characters from Klein to Miss Justice.

You see I understand all that, it was very simple, I mean a bad guy trying to get the good guy, there can't be anything simpler than that. what I'm asking the method he used, what is that, what can be done through magic and what can't? the limitations and powers of the abilities. what's the working principal behind the incantation, I felt like they can do whatever they want and we don't have to care about it, especially him using gray fog's power in the real world, I feel like there are no building blocks to the huge building. I need to know how power system works so I know what he's doing

I think novel most likely did explained the power system properly bcz otherwise they can do whatever the want we have no idea what's possible and what's not, I'm just frustrated at the power system other than that I'm fine with mystery aspect of it

So first of all I don't know what can seer do, like what is his actual powers and their limits, is it surveillance like his eyes keep going dark and he keeps seeing auras? or is it throwing cards or something, they should explain it better, and the gray fog in mix, I get it something special for the MC but now he can even use it in the real world, I'm fine with that too but how can he do that, he made some incantation out of thin air and told them to Audrey and the other guy and now he can use gray fog, I mean tomorrow they will say he can also access the earth where he came from, there is no explanation of anything, and same goes for the other side, he's just possessing someone and using his blood for a boost, what principal is behind that, like you can use chakra manipulate things, or ki to shoot blasts, what are they using to do this stuff and what are the limitations of this usage

what can a seer do , answer is divination. and how can he do that , answer is knowledge came with potion.

what is divination, answer is fortune telling, divining about any particular thing .is it good is it bad is it dangerous is it safe.so all that stuff.

2. is spirit vision seer pathway power , anwer is no . it's a common thing for every beyonder . any one can use it with spirituality. but Klein is a seer who focuses on mysticism aspect so he has more spirituality than other , that's the reason his spirit vision being better.

now fog stuff, no he can't use fog power without limit , this time it helped because justice did at right time.

now, incantation has also a meaning,
first line the fool who doesn't belong to this era is directly represented him who is not from this era/world.

second line , mysterious ruler above grey fog, who do you think is it. of course it's Klein

third line is simply from luck enchantment ritual, in Chinese mythology yellow is described as earth and black as heaven and he did that ritual for good luck. so that incantation.

now why he did that. because he got the idea from old neil ritual magic. he thought why don't i try it . .ut we also learned that three para incantation can only be for being equal to god. but Klein doesn't have that power. but guess who does , of course it's gray fog, guess who justice and hanged man is connected to , of course gray fog. so what gray fog did was it itself became a kind of middleman it took their prayer and made a connection with Klein and thats how he could use gray fog power.

it is not op as you think , this time it helped because justice coincidentally prayed at that time.

@Sahilnoor Ok, I think I have to rewatch this whole thing to understand what's happening and why, Maybe multiple times, but you didn't told me how does incantation work? do you just put some meaningful phrases together and then you can do anything you want? cz it seems very random to me
