Despite being a fan-favorite in Season 1, it feels like she's been sidelined for the past two seasons. I absolutely agree! I do hope Ram comes back soon! She was so great in season 2 and I loved her ever since. Don’t know what you mean by season 1, since Ram had more focus in season 2.

At least they showed Rem still knocked out a couple times over the last few years. In my opinion, the real disrespected one is Beatrice. Beako, so powerful in season 1, and a nice supporting character in the story, has been completely nerfed and totally forgotten by now.

Rem was replaced by Garfiel, and I don't have anything against Garfiel, he's a cool character and all, but goddamn, bring my waifu back already.

2 whole seasons without Rem is too much, and if I don't get Rem then at least give me Ram but I'm not even getting Ram in this season, and where is my Betty too? She has been sleeping for way too long.

You just need to let the story cook. There is a big reason for this from when she is comatosed to later on in the story. Its not for no reason and compliments a lot of other characters

Rem wasn't sidelined because of her popularity lol. This already happened in the novels way before she got popular. Tappei know what he wants to do with the characters and personally I liked the development, especially post arc 6 were she gets to be more than her sister's shadow

... Sorry to break it to you, but Rem was written this way years before plans for the anime even began.

Also, this is yet another instance of Rem fans missing key points of her character and the writing decisions that went into putting her into coma.

rem was made into a coma so she would remain relevant to the story and subaru would have a purpose, the author even said if she wasn't put into a coma she would just stay in the mansion like frederica and ram. even if she went to priestella she would end up the same as crusch in the end.
