They both have people with powers that fight monsters/demons. the MC is a weak guy who wants to (and can) get stronger he wants to save his family (little sister) from a serious medical condition Demons that are monsters that can continuously grow more powerful are a huge threat to humanity... and the strongest demon hunters go to fight them.. and people die... Doesn't this sound familiar too?!! Honestly, these are just easily relatable things that make people get more involved in the story and the MC. You can find other kinds of tropes in many romance or romcom animes and compare them the same way you did here. For every unique anime/manga, there are plenty of stories that feel like a replica of something if you just read/watch a lot of them, especially with these isekai/fantasy/fighting animes. Many of them get the fundamentals from games. And that's a fact. |

| I would say the jeju arc is inspire some from hunter x hunter, but solo leveling is not a copy of it, and beside hxh main arc is the chimera while solo leveling is not |
