Another pile of generic predictable nice guy mc with the waifu bait tropey anime(or maybe not, let's hope not, maybe it can be an actually good romance which would be a surprise to this day), when is this bad normie trend gonna end jesus christ I'm so tired. Not to say if you pay attention to his feet when he walks up the stairs and the proportions how much they deform to try making the zoom effects it's like his body is made of rubber. God awful and laughable honestly, can't wait for the people like "ackshually! is really good!" okay. |

Kuma said: I didn't even imply that I want the main guy to be an asshole, you have serious issues reading. It's not realistic when in an anime, the only person seemingly that treats the main girl or just any other girl that shows up in the story nicely is the protagonist and they just magically fall in love with him for so, that's what I mean with "nice guy mc trope" the protag who can't possibly make mistakes or somehow lives in a world were for some reason he is the only one that treats them nicely and that's enough for them to fall in love with him. You need to stop getting into weird conclusions, when I mean a "good romance" I mean a good story with good characters that fall for each other on realistic terms, maybe if you broaden your horizons and watch good quality SoL or better character driven stories that not necessarily have to be romance you would understand what I mean.KrolikDojima said: so you want female lead to fall in love to asshole guys instead? thank fucking god those author not fall into romanticize "broken guys"... it's like these author actually have touch on reality and know healthy relationship build on kind characters. i take those than wtf was that latest 2 shoujo adaptation announced recently. if those are what you consider "good romance", i would rather watch generic romance then.Kuma said: RobertBobert said: I wonder how long this "self-insert male MC + unique waifu" romcom trend will last? I don't think you're so ignorant of anime tropes to know that such works are always meant to be wish fulfillment and portray the male protagonist as a self-istert to enhance that experience. Dude, don't start your autistic mode of arguing for the sake of arguing again. I literally told you why that is, but you start making it personal and passive aggressive again.RobertBobert said: again, how the series is self insert when author clearly express otherwise? like kanokari for example, author clearly stated it was a self insert series. but you haven't provide any reason what made this a self insert series. or is it just another buzzword?Kuma said: RobertBobert said: again, you accused series being male self insert, despite the author express multiple times that she adore the male lead soo much and sometimes jealous of mie-san. also how the hell noragami self insert?Kuma said: I love how you get upset about an idea I didn't even come up with lol. I literally gave high marks to the show you mentioned. And yes, self-insert characters are written for the audience, not for the author. Which is just the case here. If you want a female-written shonen with a female self-insert, check out Noragami.RobertBobert said: I wonder how long this "self-insert male MC + unique waifu" romcom trend will last? Not to say if you pay attention to his feet when he walks up the stairs and the proportions how much they deform to try making the zoom effects it's like his body is made of rubber. RobertBobert said: see, you just admit yourself you made your argument based on prejudice that it was shounen romcom despite i already pointed out that the authors has stated that the MC is what SHE likes, not what would audience like, and it doesn't necessarily fit the trope you argue it was part off, but you didn't even listen.Kuma said: Because it's a fucking shonen romcom for a male audience that follows the classic formula. Kuma said: You continue to speak for me again and try to demand excuses from me for your own scarecrows, even if earlier I said that I give high marks to such a show and do not consider it bad, but just a tool. You stupidly do not listen to me, but continue to impose your fantasies on me about what I meant. Even if they directly contradict my words or I have already answered them. I'm just going to stop talking to you again, because it reminds me of Rousseau's idiom about trying to light up an owl's nest. It's just incredible that after all this you think that YOU are the one who should reproach someone for not trying to listen to the opponent's arguments.RobertBobert said: see, you just admit yourself you made your argument based on prejudice that it was shounen romcom despite i already pointed out that the authors has stated that the MC is what SHE likes, not what would audience like, and it doesn't necessarily fit the trope you argue it was part off, but you didn't even listen.Kuma said: RobertBobert said: again, how the series is self insert when author clearly express otherwise? like kanokari for example, author clearly stated it was a self insert series. but you haven't provide any reason what made this a self insert series. or is it just another buzzword?Kuma said: You yourself came up with the idea that I blame someone. RobertBobert said: but you never address how this series a "male self insert" series outside that it was "shounen romcom so it must be it" which you also admit what you solely based your argument on. i already answer how this series isn't even close to it, but when i answered it, you keep repeating same point, despite i already say untrue based the chapter i read from the series. the female lead was the one who an extrovert with only have small amount of close friends while male lead was the popular extrovert guy. the author also stated she adore male lead soo much. so how is that a male self insert series after all of that?Kuma said: You continue to speak for me again and try to demand excuses from me for your own scarecrows, even if earlier I said that I give high marks to such a show and do not consider it bad, but just a tool.
