| Because it's a good show, that comes from a person, who also did another popular show, and it's done wonders. It was always going to happen to a show would take over the top two. I doubt it'll stay there though. |

| Fanboys of the original source, not just the source, but the writer as well, and 1.5 hour first episode that includes the dramatic shift. It's also a drama that the masses will eat up easily. I predict it will end around 8.9 when it's finished, still way too high. Her getting pregnant at 16 was pretty hot though, Oshi no Koomslut needs a complete rehaul tbh |

| Of course, it's popular. It's from the same author as Kaguya-sama Love is War which also climbed to the top 10 of MAL. And I believe Season 3 was also no. 1 for a while. *Sees 1000+ forum replies on episode 1 discussion* *spits out drink Okay. That is kind of a crazy number.
