Yet, just 2 guys soloed all of them, so what was really the point of them making such a stress for multiple episodes of not fighting black dragon when they obviously werent even close of being a threat? Like it wasnt even a fair fight, Draken just soloed 99% of them while Mikey oneshoted Taiju, where was the dillema if they should or not fight them?!

Only that???
I'm still confused how Mikey arrived at the place without even knowing. Even before it why Hina beat Takemichy without saying even a word. Atleast try to talk things. Yuzuha got beaten by Taiju, prepared to kill him and in the end what's up with the aishteru???
Either these things will be explained latter or I'm dumb to understand that why tf MAL hasn't put a comedy tag in this series.

You just have to agree that this show is a dumpster-fire. Season 1 had plenty moments when logic and reason don't apply. Certainly S2 wouldn't be any better. Still, this show is popular for a reason. For most people it's fun to watch.

I think it was slighty hinted Mikey had a schizo moment or something

Yeah I agree, I don't even know what is happening in this show anymore. I liked the first season even if it was unrealstic, I like the story and fights. But this is just pure confusion. The arc is rushed, the fights aren't hype, teh chracters aren't fleshed out or are generic, the main narrative of the sibling dynamic is boring, the arc had such a trash climax as you said. That epic shonen vibe from last season is gone.

Pretty sure it was mentioned, that Mikey followed those two Taiju's wingmen.

Unnamed characters are always weaker, this is how it works.
Like in musou games.

The real fight was in the church.
And Mikey oneshoted an already injured and exhausted Taiju, this is a shared win.

I think Black Dragon won't fight Toman anymore, at least not after they defeated Taiju. Let's wait and see what will happen next.

The OP's and most of the responses in this thread are some of the most braindead I've ever seen. Taiju was literally stabbed, obviously injured and exhausted by the time Mikey arrived. He wasn't at 100%. Mikey would have still won regardless, but it wouldn't have been that one sided under normal circumstances. Draken is also literally known for being able to take on multiple dudes in a fight (established in season 1). The reason he struggled in season 1 is because Valhalla had far more men than Black Dragons had outside the church.

It's also funny how many people here missed the point of this arc. But what can I honestly expect from the average battle shounen fans who want fights and don't care about character writing and the story.

The point of this arc was basically to show Takemitchy's true strength, and the reason Mikey and Draken put so much faith in him. Takemitchy isn't and will never be a top tier fighter, but he brings something to Toman that makes him just as important as someone like Draken or Mikey. Heart, never say die spirit and charisma. We saw it with Hakkai 2 episodes back. Hakkai was so incredibly afraid of Hakkai, but yet, after seeing Takemitchy refusing to stay down, he was able to gain the courage to finally fight back. It's like the most recent episode pointed out...Takemitchy is like Mikey's older brother. It's why Mikey respects him so much.

This arc also gives you more information on Kisaki and his role/motive. You can almost piece together Kisaki's character just based on what they gave us this arc. This arc also introduced 2 characters who will be important from here on out: Koko and Inupi. More of Toman's background and the background for some of their members (Mitsuya, Hakkai and Mikey) were also fleshed out.

Something big will also happen thanks to the aftermath of this arc. You'll see next episode.

In all fairness, you don't HAVE to like this arc, or the story for that matter, but my issue was with how people here are trying to dismiss this arc as meaningless and downplaying Black Dragon as a whole. Without spoiling anything, I'll just say that Black Dragon are MUCH more significant than some of you seem to think. Not just in terms of their strength, but also their significance in the grander narrative of the story. As I said, Black Dragon only looked weak because of how much Taiju was weakened and the fact their numbers were nothing compared to Valhalla. Toman were never afraid of them, they just didn't want an unnecessary fight. And like I said, Taiju was a huge threat. If he was at 100% he would have put up a fight against Mikey.
