| Yes and JJK was much less consistent in terms of quality than CSM, can't have both. Btw AOT production time as nothing to do with CSM episode count |
| However, we are getting quality over quantity, so I am fine with it. Also, there's JJK and AOT, so, next season is packed, too. |

| You definitely know that MAPPA done this part thing all the time. AOT FINAL season -> FINAL p2 -> FINAL - FINAL act. Tbh, since this series is just starting out. They are still speculating on how well this series perform and look at the sales. It can be S2. Makima simps just need to throw their wallet at the waifu merch (i.e. figurines) like a true hardcore Makima fan to fund the show. I was expecting MAPPA to pick up Solo Leveling but another studio took it before them. |

I wouldn’t rule out another cour dropping for the spring season but we’ll see. Either way they’re going to adapt the entire 1st part asap, barring some unforeseen issues. |

| despite the fact that some people can't ignore those 20 frames of out of place looking cgi in episode 1, this show clearly is as polished as it gets. I'm not surprised they went with 12. this is already a big risk for mappa with how much money they have put into it. making it double length would mean doubling the risk, and that just sounds like a bad move. |

| CSM has the most consistent and highest quality from everything else they done, id rather less episodes and have this level of animation than a rushed adaption and to give the overworked animators some time to breathe |

| Yeah, all my normie friends who had been loving the series so far got disappointed when I told them it will only have 12 episodes, they couldn't believe it but that's how most anime are done nowadays. |
| Mappa is solo producing this show. It's the biggest financial risk the studio has ever taken. If CSM anime fails than Mappa as a studio would lose a lot of money. No wonder they went for 12 episodes as they don't want to increase the financial risk that this show has. If Chainsaw Man becomes successful however than Mappa will join the big leagues as one of the big studios that can afford high budget production like Production IG or Toei. If Chainsaw Man is a success than their will definitely will be a second season and it will most probably be even better animated than the first one. Let's just hope this season of CSM is successful. |

| Seemed pretty obvious to me that they want to go with: 1st season -> Reze arc movie -> 2nd season There's no way the 1st season is gonna cover reze arc with this pace. And it's length is perfect for a movie. Smart choice. |
