Many people started watching anime from long running shows like Naruto,One Piece, Fairy tail and etc. I created this forum to see peoples different taste in long running shows. In your opinion what is the best long anime show that you have watched?  |

| Hunter x Hunter 2011. It's either that or Naruto and Hunter x Hunter is definitely better written and more consistent. Wait, there's Yuu Yuu Hakusho as well. HxH > YYH > Naruto. |

| Naruto and Shippuden (720 eps) Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z (444 eps) Saint Seiya and Hades Sanctuary Chapters (127 eps) That's my top three. In general long-runners tend to be the greatest and most memorable series, and most of my favorites are long-runners consequently. |

| Ojamajo doremi by a very large margin. If only people knew about what it achieves, they would be more inclined to check it out! Hunter x Hunter 2011 is excellent as well, however. At the moment, I am enjoying legend of the galactic heroes quite a bit, and I have high hopes for it too, although I can't quite recommend it yet! |

| Hands down Hunter x Hunter. Ginga Eiyuu densetsu would be my second pick, it's one of a kind but it has some things about it that I don't like (like the 1 frame per minute framerate and some of the story turns.) Hajime no ippo would be my third pick if it breaks 100 eps the highs and consisteny are incredible but it does definitely drag things out here and there. |

| Warau Salesman is my number one pick. With Oishinbo as a close second. Honorable mentions are Saint Seiya, Dragon Ball (the original series), Ninja Hattori-kun, Captain Tsubasa, Galaxy Express 999 and Rurouni Kenshin (does this one count, the main series is only 96 episodes, but there are the OVAs). |
| Started Lupin III last week, and i am really loving it despite being episodic. Hunter X Hunter is also great for long running anime. |
