Either way, I disabled them for now.Yes, I noticed that occurred on both anime and manga lists at least on my page. You can disable both by going into your profile settings then click on list and uncheck the notes tab. Problem solved! |

| I tried enabling the 'Notes' option on my Anime List Settings and Manga List Settings but I have tons of notes. Having 'Notes' enabled made my lists sort of cluttered so I disabled them again; I'd rather click the 'More' button. I wish we could just have a toggle (+/- or on/off) button (something similar to the spoiler button on top of Interest Stacks) to collapse or expand notes on lists instead of going over the settings and have everything show up all at once. Or they could allow us to see our notes upon hovering on the 'More' button similar to AniList. |

I would like to quote the opening post by @Frosteek because, it speaks to me a lot: I've always used notes as reserved areas to write links and personal remarks, so I've always considered them to be private. I was shocked when I was told in this very topic that they are not, and I've had to delete some since then. So if you're like me, and you use Notes to write personal things (or you don't, yet you still wish to keep a publicly available list but without sharing your notes along with it), please vote in this Poll and leave a comment explaining how you've been using the Notes feature (prior to the last updates... ... I'm referring to when Notes started to appear forcibly outside of the "More" menu, and the List Setting was updated to add Notes in the "show columns" list preference. What users like me would like, is to make their Notes unaccessible to other users, because what we write in our user Notes is strictly personal and not needed to be shared publicly). Thank you |
