| Haven't read it whatsoever but I've heard loads about the anime. How it's the type of media that reminds you of your younger self and how "cringe" you were back when you were younger because you were so different from how you are today and want to be perceived as. Unlike the anime, the manga seems to get to a somewhat satisfying conclusion. |

| Watamote is great. I'm honestly surprised the MAL average score is low. But I guess it wouldn't appeal to everyone because of how uncomfortable it may be. Haven't read the manga, but I guess the rating is a lot higher because a lot of the userbase were already fans of the anime. |

I love both the anime and the manga, but I will admit that the manga shows much more meaningful character development than the anime. |
