J-pop singer Asaka (Yuru Camp△) is performing the opening theme "Ready Set Go!!," which is previewed in the promotional video below. Idol group Erabareshi (Hajimete no Gal) will perform the ending theme "Ambitious." Keitarou Motonaga (Utawarerumono: Itsuwari no Kamen) is directing the series at Studio A-CAT. Takamitsu Kouno (Absolute Duo) is handling the series composition and Kumi Horii (Soukou Musume Senki) is designing the characters. Gou Sakabe (Date A Live) is composing the music. Ryuusen began writing the fantasy adventure novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in April 2012. Micro Magazine began publishing the series with illustrations by Choko Fuji in June 2014.
