| All seems pretty strong, bit more so than the last Gunpla instalment. Good to see a female protagonist in Mecha Anime, that's rather a rarity outside the Mecha Musume subgenre. |

Gundam exists to sell the merch and as long as the merch sells there will be anime(mostly those cash grab originals). So upto you to decide whether it's good or not. You can start out from the recent hathaway movie if you want. |

As a huge Gundam fan I say overall Gundam is doing great, but it is a franchise made up of many timelines, some great, some ok, and some bad. Which gundam are the best depends on your taste, but I would just recommend to stay away from the build, reconguista, and age series, all of these are way too kid friendly |

There's def a few bad or just "mid" ones, but if you're a fan of strong characters, themes of war, child soldiers, tragedy, a general sense of trying to understand one another, etc. you might like it. I'd rec Gundam 00 if you're looking for a self-contained, new fan friendly series. Also Code Geass itself might as well be a Gundam AU considering how similar the series are to each other. |
