I'm planning to watch all the aired episodes but i'm in doubt , knowing that i found lot of difficulties to watch 2 or 3 episodes of gintama in a row (yes it's not the same type of shows but they r both episodic).
What do tou think ?

I got up to episode 245. It's really good and fun to binge, but maybe you shouldn't aim to finish it/catch up.

I think detective Conan would be more engaging to watch because it's a mystery series. But I would not suggest binge watching it. Take it little by little (like u are watching one movie at a time).
U can also use some episode guide of something to avoid not necessarily episode to that u get invested with the series faster and then comeback and watch those skipped episode later on once u are fully invested (atleast that's what I did)

Maybe the first few hundred episodes. Specifically the beginning should be quite addicting. Back then the cases still felt fresh and well put together.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

When it's an Episodic type of Anime is just better to watch a limited amount of Episodes by day.

In my case, I just watch like 1 or 2 Eps by day. And sometimes even I take "breaks" like 1 week or even more and when I back to watching them I don't get the feeling of been lost or confused due to their format. This is part of the advantage of Episodic Anime(s).

That's exactly what I do with gintama and I wonder if doing the same with Conan will fit.

I binged Detective Conan up to date in about a year, so yes, you can.

I find long running anime much easier to binge then say a 12 episode run anime.

Gintama I'm running on about 4-5 episodes a day but Black Clover or Jojo I could easily watch 10 or more a day

by definition, series with episodic structures aren't supposed to be binged.

it has a plot but 90% of the episodes are "mystery of the week", that have nothing to do with that plot.

It is definitively possible to binge-watch detective conan.

I would say it mostly depends on how much you want to binge watch and how fast you want to finish the show.

If you want to get up to date in just a month, that would be around 30 episodes per day. Depending on how well you can or can't handle that it might burn you out.
So I would recommend a slower speed, the prevent burnout, but it's all up to you.

Also you should be aware that the show has quite a lot of filler episodes, which in itself is not a problem since those are still interesting and fun to watch, but it can be a bit of a turnoff if you want to continue the story and you have to go through multiple fillers first.

So all in all I would say just give it a try.
You will see how you like it and you can then adjust the speed accordingly.

Early Conan usually has multiple episode cases (2-3 episodes for a single story) but later on it will become increasingly more episodic only occasionally breaking into longer arcs (the longest single arc in the show being 14 episodes).

So if the episodic structure is what has you concerned it won't be much of an issue until later in the show and it's pretty easy to binge around 3 episodes in batches early on if you just want a quick mystery story.

Conan is love, go for it.
We did it so you should be able to make it happen too.

(I am not up to date now tho, I prefer watching it all once a year for some reason. (the new episodes obviously))
