With the pacing so far it might be able to reach the Goldy Pond Arc. However episode 2 might slow down.

Remember that the Escape Arc for TPN wasnt until episode 5 so the escape arc was 7 episodes. Im pretty sure the Goldy Pond is shorter so if they keep their pace they can finish the Forest Arc in 3 episodes and then have 8 or 9 episodes for the Goldy Pond arc.

Id like to think they spend more than half of this season on woods then bunker and cliffhanger when Emma arrives at godly pond, they’re only making 11 episodes. I wouldn’t even mind if they do a godly pond movie

I’m trying to imagine how a Goldy Pond movie would turn out. It would be about 7 episode length but it would be nice to have the 1 sitting experience.

Honestly ending on Goldy Pond cliffhanger would be perfect considering it's only 11 eps

I'm the opposite. I don't want them to (because it's way too fast if they did) but I think they will. But we need to see episode 2 first whether how much anime original scenes they are gonna put. Other than that, rn it looks like they can adapt Goldy Pond. Then again, goldy pond was stretched out so it could honestly be better with fast pacing.

A goldy pond movie would easily be movie of the year. I much prefer this too bc the demon fights will only meet their full potential only with a high production value, and that’s the first real demon fight. If they do any movies it will have to be godly pond

As a former YnN fan who started disliking the franchise after the Escape arc, I would love to have an anime original ending. That aside, there is no way they are going to not adapt until the end of the Goldy Pond arc with the current pacing.

If they put the goldy pond arc in second season the one of the most respected well deserved hype will go downhill.According to the manga readers the ep 1 was also rushed and that's the reason for the low score.

Most people would hate it if things move so fast, they skipped like twenty chapters already smh. It'll slow down and we're not getting Goldy Pond probably

Haven't watched the ep yet -- is the pacing rushing through the forest arc still at rapid pace?

i'm not sure how many chapters are adapted (i'll check later) but i'm pretty sure they cut some of the things. It ended at Emma hunting the bird with Sonju and them coming back. I honestly thought it was gonna end at Mujika giving Emma the pendant but it didn't so I think we'll have an anime original ep next because starting the episode with the kids leaving would be meh.

Well that's better than it could've been. Still questioning why they just didn't wait and do 24 episodes and neatly adapt all through goldy pond with a small bit of original content instead.

I just checked and they adapted 3 chapters but they still cut some scenes and made other scenes longer (like eating etc.). Maybe they didn't get the time slot for it and a season with just promised forest arc and goldy pond cliffhanger would be wack honestly. It would be better paced tho with little to no cuts.

It's exactly 4 chapters: 46,47,48 and 49 of the vol. 6, they cut some dilogues, slightly changed the order of some small events (like the chitchat in the underground pass and survival leasons) and cut some dialogues, but the pacing was good if we compare with the E01, where they cut and change too lot.
I think they will adapt the last 3 chapters of the vol. 6 in the next episode because there a good cliffhanger in the last one, chapter 52 - B06-32(2). And I hope they use the Sonju scene to slowpacing the episode.

oh yeah my math was wrong sorry haha I didn't count ch 46.

Yeah it's a lot better than ep 1 but still pretty fast. Not bad though. And yeah I think you're right. Ending with him would be good ngl. Unless they do an anime original ep.
