so I've started reading kingdoms and it looked realy interesting. great art, interesing world and character so far(I've read 24 chapter).

but the main character li xin... is realy another shitty annoying generic brat that NeVEr GiVEs uP and alwais act on impulse.
ho did I mention the character is ALWAIS FUCKINC SCREAMING?
like ffs they get surrounded by a group of OP bloodthirsty warriors and the asshole just fucking goes in screaming(ofc) like a retard. fortunately best boi ying zheng gets hold of the situation and they don't get fucking slaugthered to death by the mountain people.
I realy did feel like reading a shonen to be honest.

so my question is: does this character stay like that or does he change thoughout the story? stops screaming all the time and acting like a retarded shonen MC?

I don't know if the fact that you have read 580 chapter is good or not cause there realy is no hope then. and I have already read vinland saga it's pretty fucking great. and it's MC too, is great.

He remind me of the old Eren, it's a shame that he hasn't change much, but I don't think a character needs to change sometimes.

Not really a fan of those type of main characters.

It's slow, but Xin's gradually becoming less idiotic. He's still loud and a bit obnoxious but he's definitely come a long way from how he was at the beginning imo.

Yeah he's definitely improving as he's maturing. At the beginning of the manga he's still young, but as the time passes and matures slowly, gathering up info from mentor generals.

Keep reading until at least 1 big arc that starts around chapter 110 or so and if its not your cup of tea then drop it i guess.

Kingdom has been a best selling Seinen manga for the last couple of years in Japan. Its pure greatness later on, but at start it is indeed a little slow.

Hopefully you push through it.

Contrary to popular belief Shounen and Seinen are not some kind of "genre", but simply indicate in what magazine they are published in. Kingdom is published in a Seinen magazine, hence it is Seinen.

I could understand if while reading the series you became annoyed of Shin, there was a certain point I thought he was. But you've barely started the manga and you're already complaining. You should drop it.

And to answer your question: Yes, he does change.

I agree with that but I also don't agree completely, because often(exept for shows like death note, OPM or saiki kusuo where it doesn't mean anything) it is important.
shonen often tend to take too much control of the manga and don't let the creator do as they wish
seinen are aimed at adults so(again, most of the time, there are exeptions) most of the stuff aimed at adults are seinen(berserk, vagabond, urasawa's works)

shonen and seinen difference tend to matter a lot when it's an action manga too, because most of the shonens protagonists are nice guys who will kill themselves and save the whole world, just because they're nice guys (naruto, luffy, deku,)
so yea shonen and seinen matter most of the time but not alwais. and this manga is a good example of that, I think it could be a shonen without problems

Tone-wise maybe, but remember that this is a series where people get regularily bisected.

have you read fire punch? it's published in a shonen magazine but it's one of the manga I've read where the most fucking horrible things happens. I can't name a MC let alone any character that went through more shit than agni(the mc)
having people dying and all doesn't mean a manga can't be a shonen, I guess it's more about the complexity and the overall aim of the manga.

Kingdom is definitley a seinen series, and not just because it's from a seinen magazine. You wouldn't see an explicit sex scene in a shonen manga, or the amount of gore that's in Kingdom.

To answer your question, yes, he changes. I can't even imagine how can someone drop this awesome manga.

Amazing with you
With me and him, it is just another trainwreck shounen
Start good but now it's just a average manga

If by "realy interesting. great art, interesing world and character" means trainwreck shonen for him, then I wouldn't even answer his question.

well it doesn't it's the MC that's annoying and spoils all of that but most people told me he changes and grows more mature so I'll check it out(after slam dunk probably)

Once you read further into the the manga you'll get to understand how straight forward he is but its a really good manga and Xin and the Hi Shin unit really surprise you
