I'm taking it that when you say "Bike," you're referring to a motorcycle.

Are you not ATGATT? Or are you a Squid?

Maybe you could try taking Vicodin. Dr House takes Vicodin and he seems pretty on the ball.

No, I was riding a road bike. 30-40mph isn't that fast.

I have vicodin but it's not my drug of choice. Really just makes me sleepy.

Road bike? I've never heard of them. Is it like a racing bike? How the hell do you get 40mph on a bicycle? Were you going downhill or something?

Wolverine didn't have an accident. The claws were bone and and the metal ones were given to him by the weapon x program.

OT: @lucjan I'm not sure if it would work since I don't have metal plates in my body but have you tried using hot packs?

Poor choice of thread name.

From reading the title alone I thought the OP of this thread might be that guy from the Guinness book of world records who only eats metal things, and he couldn't afford the heating bill this winter.

My left shoulder received the entirety of the impact. Didn't even have a concussion. I remember afterwards crawling to the side of the road, dragging my bike with my right hand. I was unaware of the severity of the accident because of the adrenaline. Called my grandmother to pick me up and sat there. Moving my arm, it felt like marbles were being shook. Those were the broken pieces of my bones shifting. Someone saw me sitting there and called 911. When the paramedics arrived, I was immediately told my shit was fucked. Spent the next 2 weeks unable to move my arm without sharp pains coursing through it. I think the biggest annoyance was being unable to take a shower. 2 weeks after the break I had surgery. The break was bad and the surgery took 4 hours. They plated my collarbone in metal and screws. The nature of the break was abnormal and coupled with the surgery, I now have nerve damage in my left shoulder. I'm unable to feel anything in that location. Right below the area in the back, I'm experiencing a lot of pain. Popped up a month ago and I find it too coincidental to be random.

Again, I don't know what a "Road Bike" is. I used to have a racing bike, and I could easily get up to 25mph, but 40mph is impossible.

Then look it up? 25mph is slow, even for a hybrid.

Well, bikes where you live must have wings on them, because nobody can go that fast on a pedal bicycle where I live.

Whatever. But, if you're going that fast on a bicycle, and you fall off and hurt/kill yourself, I'd have a hard time feeling sorry for you.

Lol... That's the speeding for cars dude...

Don't expect a bike to be runnin' 45 km/h... xD You'd be kidding me, I mean, yeah physically not impossible but the damage in the person's body would be terrible in case of collision/crash, especially you'd be the one flying... xD

No, how would that work? I've been taking pain meds and wrapping myself in layers.
Well, hot packs are supposed to generate heat so I thought that if you wore a hot pack scarf over the metal plate, it would keep it warm.

I have nerve damage in my left shoulder so it wouldn't do anything. It's right below it but I dunno how I'd keep the hot pack there.

I'm no medical professional so I don't know much about this but maybe this thread could be helpful.
