It seems they are using a very reduced color palette. Not the best visual to be released the way it is to be honest. It is better to wait for the new preview to see if the trade-off was worth it. |

Based on what we have heard, my guess is that the kagari route is going to replaced a part, or the whole of the moon+terra routes. These two routes were probably considered too subtle and obscure in its intended message for the audience, so a new route is made to deliver it in a clearer way. Regarding the episode count, my bet is 36-39 episodes, you'd have to cut down the common route by a bit, but should work fine with the heroine routes. |

Hearing "Gentle Jena" in the anime will make me feel those emotions again... I have more faith in david production than 8bit, so I have higher expectations for planterarian to be awesome and capture the feel of the VN. |

The heroine routes is where most of Rewrite shines and where most VN readers are excited about (since Moon and Terra are both controversial routes). And it's impossible for any of the heroine routes to be adapted into one OVA episode. The Kagari route/arc is already confirmed to be in the anime, so this format is already incorrect. If the anime is only 2 cours, I would want: 7 episodes - common 5 episodes - Kagari S2 - Moon/Terra By the way, it's going to be weird that Rewrite, ReLIFE, and Re:Zero will be airing in the same season. Rewrite and ReLIFE kinda sound similar. Both are produced by Aniplex. People are more hyped for ReLIFE when I look through forums and lists. And Re:Zero is still going to be the most popular anime in the summer I think. So, Rewrite is the least hyped of the "Re-" family this summer season, which is good when Nov. 13th happens or if the anime flops. |
