| I just noticed that the manga finished, is there any chance we'll get to see the story finished in an anime adaptation? Sket Dance is without a doubt one of my favorite anime but it ended with such a cliffhanger. It's been a while since I finished it and I feel like rewatching it but if i'm never going to get a proper ending I just don't see the point of it. |

| I usually go by the 2 year rule as a rule of thumb. If a series isn't confirmed for a sequel within 2 years after it finishes airing, then it probably won't get one. There are obvious exceptions but that's a pretty simple rule to go by. |

| this manga is my favorite ever, but I didn't really like the anime version dunno why, I feel like the gags didn't manage to be funny in the adaptation, or something |
| Ahh this is really disappointing. I don't usually read manga and on the rare occasion that I do it's usually for those that look like they're never going to get an anime adaptation to begin with. It sucks but I might never finish it unless I REALLY get an urge to find out what happens at the end if I ever rewatch. Thanks for the replies though. EDIT: Please don't post any spoilers btw. There's always the chance I pick it up. |

| Not pathetic at all man, I remember Sket Dance to be an amazing anime and it's a damn shame if it never gets entirely animated, I don't usually pick up mangas on series that I started off watching as an anime but I know that at one point I'll rewatch Sket Dance and I'll have to finish the manga eventually. It's definitely a masterpiece in my eyes. People usually compare it to Gintama, and while they do have their similarities and I really do love Gintama , Sket Dance has it's very tragic and hilarious moments that can't be compared. Although I would recommend you watch Gintama if you haven't seen it already. |
