| Is it such a big deal? I joined MAL 4-5 days ago, and I am too shy to send anyone a FR, but I wouldn't mind at all if someone sends me one. It's just the Internet. Nobody really cares about how many friends you have on your lis or whatever. Plus, as a person who used to send ransom friend requests a couple of years ago, I can tell you that a lot of these people do this because they're not sure what to say and doing this usually makes the person getting the request go 'who're you?' and then they can carry a conversation. Kind of lame, but there it is. |

It's just that the feature seems pointless to me. I mean if you want to be friendly with me you can just try to talk to me. And if we can have lot's we can talk and nice conversations and enjoy each others messages then i guess we will remember each other right? Like people do in reality. So what is the need to put that person in a friend list? I already know who that person is because i had nice conversations with him/her and i remember who they are. I shouldn't' need to look at a friends list to remember them right? In the real world people that we call friends are at least people you enjoy the company of and remember. I doubt you consider your self friends with someone you can't even remember very well. |
