THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
I gotta say that I’m a little disappointed that Amshel was doing all this just to see Diva’s babies growing up and what she would do. I had hoped for a far grander plan, but I guess Amshel wasn’t meant to be the final boss, even though all signs earlier on pointed to that. Given that Amshel is now fighting Hagi and Diva is fighting Saya, Nathan looks like he’ll be taking that role. I don’t like that so much because it feels like Nathan hasn’t been given nearly as many evil moments as Amshel has, making this casting feel a bit rushed. But I suppose they are starting to develop Nathan here, with his comments about how he’s seen with his own eyes what happened before and about Saya and Diva’s mother’s Chevaliers. I’m sure we’ll learn more in the next two episodes.

Yet again, this show focused more on SayaXKai than SayaXHagi. We see that Saya herself really isn’t planning on coming back with the way she returned the duplicate key back to Kai’s coat pocket and said goodbye. And then when she actually did see him, she just grabbed his arm for a brief moment as if she wanted to say something, but never does. It’s really frustrating watching something like that. I’m betting that Kai will interfere in Saya’s fight at least one more time, in order to tell her not to die or something.

Speaking of dying, it’s becoming more exciting to predict which characters will live and which will die. I’m guessing that none of the Chevaliers will live, nor will Diva. Saya might make it through, but I have my doubts. Kai, Joel, Okamura, Mao, and Julia will all probably make it through. Lewis I’m kind of iffy on, though I really want him to survive. I would say that David can live through anything, but he seems like a mentor character and those typically have bad odds. As for Lulu, her survival depends on if they want to tie up her storyline and give her a cure for the Thorn. In any case, I expect the body count to be fairly high.

Good episode, but Nathan sure looks really suspicious now and in the latest episodes. I wonder what he meant with Saya's and Diva's mother's Chevaliers. It gave me the feeling that he knows something that the others don't.

well it seems like Nathan was working in the shadows or summin' of the sort..

i already know how the story ends, and wut will happen with the other characters but as for Lulu and some of the others i got no clue...
and the sayaxkai moments are starting to annoy me >_>
seriously there are more moments between the two than haji and saya!
and how the heck do amshel and the other chevaliers get those kind of powers.. -.- haji should show his true strength! yay to roasted Amshel!!!

The Chevaliers are a strange bunch, so I find it natural that Amshel's reasons be something which we find disappointing. This episode makes it more and more evident that Nathan is going to be the last obstacle, but what his actions will be still remain a mystery. I still don't understand what his true motive is.

On a side note, I was surprised to see Amshel firing bolts from his palm. Since when did Chevaliers possess that kind of ability?

Since Amshel has had the resources of his company to do R&D over the past 100 years or so, it is quite likely he has been able to uncover the powers of the Chevalier to the fullest. If Nathan really was a Chevalier to the mummy, we may find that he has even greater powers.

Two eipisodes left--time to do the final weeding of characters.

Yea Nathan looks as suspicious as ever makes him such an interesting character and thats why he has been my favourite Chevalier. Yea it does seem like he knows more than he lets on and maybe he was the Chevalier of Saya's and Diva's mother?

Longest convo about destiny and selfishness between Saya and Amshel. Gotta say, the bodies are gonna start dropping soon. I hate that candy eating dude I wish he dies or something along those lines.

Whoa! Did Nathan just say in a round-a-bout way that he was the Chevalier of Diva's and Saya's mother? Damn! How old is Nathan? Diva's and Saya's mother had already been mummified for some time when she was discovered by Amshel and the first Joel. Where was Nathan then?

Things just got a little more interesting.

I can't remember any other show where the good guys would be useless like here. I really have no idea how they could possibly win this fight...but I'm sure they will lol.

Round and round the motivation behind all human action are always the same. Plot that gives full rein to the motivations of Anshel, finally comes to the point between Saya and Diva.
Also I thought of a plan much more complicated instead of Anshel motivations are not so transcendental.
Narration violent, very good, I would like more blood and wickedness if it were possible. David never loses an opportunity to get a new tattoo in battle! LOL
Nathan promises the best of the Chevalier, but for some time it was understood.

Lol at Condaleeza Rice turning into a monster.
Also Saya standing there talking while a slaughter occurs in the audience. Yeah he's got her cornered, but she should at least be trying.
I wish there was more time to learn about Nathan and his connection with Saya's mother. I hope this is actually discussed.
Very bittersweet when she put the key back. It's kind of a cruel gesture- keep it with you, even if you die with it! Also from the way she looked at Kai, it seems she will never see him again.
Kai, you look so hot with your hair slicked back like that. Doesn't Kai look hot with his hair slicked back like that?

Well, he basically claimed to Amshel that he was. If that's the case then I expect him to remain neutral and not intervene at all in the duel between Saya and Diva, perhaps because Queen Chiropteran sisters are always destined to fight anyway. In other words, if that's the case he would not root for Diva to win, only for the stronger Queen. (survival of the strongest).

However I am sure that he is going to protect the Queen babies quite fiercely. If he is indeed so ancient to have been the mummy's Chevalier he must be super powerful (which is why James feared him) and he might successfully protect the babies in the end.

Finally, this show is coming to it's end. I'm so glad.
