| Not sure if someone's done this yet, and if they have then I will delete this thread. Anywho, what's your favorite RE game, your first, and which character did you play it through with? Favorite: RE4, still. RE5 came close, but fell short by just a hair. It might change, though, depending on the downloadable content. First: RE1 Remake, with Jill, because I'd much rather have stronger weapons and a lockpick than more health. |

| Haven't played very many RE games. But first was, Resident evil directors cut for PS1. Favorite, RE4.....maybe cause its like the only one i really got into(that being because i was older) and finished.....o.o.... |

| I have tons of RE games but I never really played any of them for more than a few hours meaning they are all unfinished with the exception of RE3: Nemesis (demo). In terms of story, I like RE3: Nemesis. In terms of gameplay, it would definitely be RE4. I haven't played RE5, I assume it has major improvements. |

| First was the original Resident Evil on the Playstation. Rofl, unforgettable opening scene and hilarious voice acting. The character introductions were priceless also. My favorite is Resident Evil 2. I don't know why, there was just something about that one. |

| I dunno why I'm replying to it but I played some of the games so I mind as well. My first was either REmake or RE0. I borrowed it around the same time.. I didn't like them too much, RE0 moreso. I might give RE1 a second chance but the crimson heads aren't fun to me ( I don't wanna be punished for defeating an enemy wrong) so I might try the original if it was rereleased lately. Favorite is tough, because I didn't play most of them long enough. I have a feeling it'll be RE2 for N64 (the only one I own, but didn't play with it much) but for right now I will say Umbrella chronicles because I had the most fun with that one. If I play RE2 and like it I'll change back. |
| ^Crimson heads are easy to avoid: just burn the corpses and you'll never have to deal with them. I was playing RE1 yesterday, and I got totally massacred by the crimson head next to the grenade launcher... my own fault for not bringing any shotgun ammo. |

| First :RE1 on PS1. Favorite: RE2 of course followed by RE Code Veronica X. Pure survival horror games there. I like RE outbreak 1 and 2 more than the new line of RE games. I liked RE4 but look at what it did to the industry. Now, all you see is videogames that are trying hard to become the next RE4 and I hate that. All games have become the same. |

| The first I played is RE1 for the PSX. And it's also my favorite (probably because it's actually my first RE game - The power of nostalgia I guess). Though, I must admit I really like RE2 too. |

There's only so much Kerosene lying around though. What i prefer to do is leave the easy to avoid ones alone, and shotgun the annoying ones in the head, then i burn them if by chance they die without their head popping. |

| I can understand why, they are annoying.. But imo, it works, adds a new level of strategy, and a new level of fear if you're unable to prevent one from coming back :P |

| I played Deadly Silence. Its okay, nothing to go out of your way for. Having the original live action opening is just a blast though. I didn't care for the changes the DS version made, so I just played the original and had fun that way. |

| the first RE game i saw was RE 2 but the first one i personally played was RE 3 Nemisis however i did go back and play two, my favorite RE is a toss up between 4 and 4 mainly because they feel like very different games because of gameplay |

| First: RE1 remake for the Gamecube. Never could figure out how to open the damn elevator so I never actually beat the game.... but man, did I ever kill A LOT of dogs. Fav: RE4. It just played sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better. |

| First I played was Resident Evil on the PSX. It was the first game I bought with my PSX. I still can't get over how amazing the opening video was, the jump from 16 bit to live action movie intro was hard for me to believe. The ingame graphics wernt bad either. Rewatching it now, its really badly acted and cheesey (adds a kind of b-movie appeal nowadays), but back then it was amazing. Favorite would have to be RE4 on the good ol Gamecube. I love the series so much I cosplayed as Leon Kennedy (RE2 RPD Uniform) as the Tokyo Game Show this year. +10 nerd points :) |
