I can't wait until Spring, it'll be pretty much be Yoshino vs Chino for anime girl of the season.

When I first saw Chino I instantly thought of you. Mostly likely because I think Chino sort of looks like Yoshino and you have Yoshino all over your posts.

I'd say right now I'm really looking forward to Haikyuu. The PV looked pretty cool. If what was shown in the PV is actually how the points are going to be played out it's going to be a fun series to watch.

So this is how this thing is going to be done is it?

I was thinking it would be created at the start and have people posting new info in it as the week went along (a bit like how the license/simulcast threads). Although I guess that would require people to actually know what is considered worthy of having its own thread and what goes in here instead...

+ should we submit news stories for things even if we know they are only going to go in here?

Or is what I thought it would be like how it's going to work in future and this week just an exception?

Anyway, hadn't really looked at Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka? before. Looks like it could be interesting.

I like the art in Haikyuu, it also seems intense and I've heard that the manga has some lighthearted comedy in it, I'll give it a try.

In regards to having this posted at the beginning of the week in the news board and having people post what should be in thread won't work. That isn't the point of this. Unless you mean what I'm going to talk about next.

An idea I like and I think we could implement is having this posted (before it's completed like at the beginning of the week) in a different forum and have people who would like to help out and post announcements do so on that thread. News mods can then add in what we find and what other people submit onto the thread there and at the end of the week post it to the news board. I certainly don't want people to feel that news mods are the only ones who pick all the news that gets posted. It's never been that way nor is it now.

As for what would be newsworthy in regards to that thread I could create something to give some direction.

Anything else you or anyone else wants to discuss about this feel free to PM me so that this thread doesn't head too far off-topic.

That's true there was a trailer of the dub. I just watched it yesterday too I'm surprised I forgot to add it in. I'll do that now.

No the PVs aren't going to put on here unless they go with something else already posted. Example would be the Psycho-Pass post. If you look at their respective series discussion forums you will already find the PVs there. We aren't going to be putting them in two different places. As for the Pretty Rhythm Movie that isn't going to be on here either. That is something that will get its on thread on the news board. No one has gotten to it yet or else it would be posted already. I'm heading out so I can't do right now. Another mod should post it soon or I'll do it when I get back.

^Thankyou for the Jojo hype. The Brynhildr PV looks good too.

Good to see Psycho-Pass dub getting released, hopefully it'll bring in some viewers in time for season 2.

Saddening, the News section used to be what informed me of when a new PV was announced thanks it being one click away from the front page. Now I must play guessing games as to when a new PV is out constantly checking unumerable amounts of upcoming anime DB pages.

Something being posted twice on two different parts of a website? Oh the inhumanity!

Spring 2014 come fast !
"Children of Japan. And those who were once children. Listen! This is not a dream. This is not fiction. In reality, your superheroes were always fighting. To teach viewers courage and the meaning of justice! No matter how many enemies there are. No matter how strong evil is. Just remember. Does any another country have so many heroes? Has any another country been protected by multiple superheroes? Stand with me, friends! Remember when you used to watch your superheroes!
Once you may have given up this dream. But today, you can be a hero!"

Funimation's 2nd winter simulcast revealed! They're early this year!

It's Noragami! And the live action Space Battleship Yamato as well.
http://www.funimation.com/blog/?p=3188

And this also reveals that they have 5 boxes (3 to fill with Space Dandy already there) along with continuing title Tokyo Ravens. We're pretty sure Maken Ki 2 has to be one of the other three, leaving two more.

Date A Live 2nd Season, and an adaptation of Mahouka and Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka? and these 3 will be showing on April 2014. Can these news get any better than this? The anime series in the April 2014 lineup is really something. I can't wait.

I'm slightly concerned about what will happen with the Date A Live simulcast situation in the UK.

The first season is one of the ones that disappeared into the void when Anime on Demand got replaced by Animax.

Well that sort of sucks :( I wasn't expecting too much from the series to begin with, but now I'm really not.
