| If you follow a lot of shounen (or to certain extend certain shoujo type) genre anime type, i think most important aspect of them is when they learn new skill, getting new stuff or just changing their appearance. Main reason is because I think people always like to see their favourite evolved into better forms while new weapon / vehicle are always make them look more badass. Not to mention that those are good material for toy maker to make some money. Perhaps there are specific scene in anime that you like when that particular character make appearance or using their ultimate power that really leave some impact to viewer. Here some example of my favourite: 1. Puella magic madoka magica When she finally realize it and used her ultimate form (i hope this is not spoiler) Tried to find a link, but couldnt. It is in the last episode. 2. Gundam Seed When Kira Yamato appeared with Freedom (in episode 33) http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=2DLY-xw4nKQ#t=916 3.
