Summon a monster from another players deck is very weird. Who chose this ridiculous ability?
Other than that, nothing surprising, Tea almost lost and then at the end, she suddenly wins, because she draws the right card :P

Nooooo, I can't believe my boy Nightmare Penguin lost! Anzu's victory was totally ridiculous, but that's nothing new in this series. I dig it!
Stop wasting time on MAL, go watch Planet With!

What a beautiful looking episode! Poor bb Tea has been through a lot. It's always a good feeling when the two magicians appear together.

Also, little Seto getting a drawing of Blue Eyes from Mokuba to cheer him up ;; I took a peek into sub, his dream of wanting to make Kaiba Land a game paradise for other little kids is surprising development. As depressing as his childhood was, games and Mokuba were the only things that brought him joy.

Seto went through arduous studying in his childhood when he and his brother were adopted. On one hand, he grew up to be intellectually gifted, but that couldn't have been fun especially with little sleep.

During mealtime, Gozaburo begins by asking Seto what his vision for Kaiba Corporation is. How will he manage the corporation when he inherits Gozaburo's position? Seto says that he wants to build Kaiba Land, an amusement park of games for underprivileged children like themselves.

So Seto has had this dream since he was a kid and it hasn't changed now that's he's grown up. In fact, he has the financial resources to make it become a reality!

Gozaburo says that's boring beyond words. Seto says that games aren't boring. Games purify the soul, and show how creative people can be. But Gozaburo says, so what? He stands up, telling Seto that he wants him to take over the company so he can be a dictator.

It's pretty ironic Gozaburo says games are boring since he's a six-time world champion in chess. And y'know, chess is a game lol.

Anzu put up a good fight, and thankfully won in the end. The conclusion to the duel was a bit cheesy, but Anzu needed the W. She and Yuugi found each other so at least there's reassurance in that

I liked Kaiba's backstory, although it came at the cost of making Anzu's duel shorter and the rushed ending was unfortunate. Of course that last turn was effing ridiculous; Anzu should've been disqualified for using a card that wasn't in her deck. Also how did she not know Maha Vailo's effect when she was the one who picked it for her deck...? The animation was gorgeous though.

Around the 10 minute mark of episode 102 when she chooses the card (clearer image of the card below), the description says "ブラック・マジシャン・ガールがフィールド上にいる時のみ発動可能。この魔法カードはモンスターゾーンに置かれ、1ターンの間、ブラック・マジシャンとして扱う。"

This means she didn't actually use a card from Yuugi's deck, she actually was just using the card as a Black Magician for one turn as per the description. The effect shown was just anime bullshit, but she wasn't breaking any rules with the card.
