| I thought that was refreshing, finally a duel with Bakura and one that doesn't take forever. Bakura's tactic was pretty risky though. If Bones had a good trapcard and Bakura lost his monster, he had nothing left in his hand. So Bakura is in the finals now, eh? No big surprise, I guess :P |

| As lackluster as the 4kids dub is overall, the one role almost perfectly casted is Yami Bakura. |
| Shout outs to Yuugi's grandpa for staying with Bakura in the hospital. He sure knows what it's like to be in the hospital, lol. Oh yeah, Bakura got a new voice actress/seiyuu since the Battle City arc started. She's the same person who voiced Musashi in my favourite video game (Brave Fencer Musashi). :-) Yami Bakura's laugh is just awesome and full of nefarious vibes all at the same time! Goodness, he sent three people to Hell! |
| I really liked the old seiyuuu for Bakura...but the new one isn’t to bad either xD Kotsuzuka can look really evil too...but Yami Bakura is the definition of pure evil :O He was fucking badass this ep! And Mai Kujaku is next episode...looking forward to her new deck! |
| I always thought it was messed up that Yugi's grandpa was the only one who was at the hospital with Bakura while Bakura's own friends were off playing card games. How awful. I liked the duel between Bakura and Kotsuzuka since the anime actually showed it on-screen instead of off-panel like the manga did. I do feel bad for Kotsuzuka though. IIRC he died in the manga after he lost to Bakura and it seems like the same applies to his anime counterpart. Kotsuzuka was dumb and a jerk, but he didn't deserve his fate. |
| Someone really thought while making this episode that adding a pink mist in the graveyard would make the encounter spookier .. |
| Damn, did he really kill those 3 guys? they're gone for good? That was such a one sided duel. |
